MANCHESTER UNITED wonderkid Ethan Wheatley mimicked Wayne Rooney’s iconic celebration after he was punched by a Liverpool star.
The Red Devils Under-18s ran riot as they hammered their bitter rivals 9-1.
Wheatley netted a hat-trick and taunted Liverpool with his goal celebration.
In the previous clash between the two in January, the youngster was punched and elbowed by Luca Furnell-Gill, who was later slapped with a three-match ban.
So when Wheatley found the back of the net with a clever finish, the striker took the opportunity get one back on Liverpool.
He copied Rooney’s iconic knockout celebration, punching the air twice before falling backwards to the floor.

The Man Utd legend did the action when he scored against Tottenham in 2015.
Rooney’s famous celebration was in reference to a video of him getting knocked out by former team-mate Phil Bardsley.
Fans enjoyed Wheatley’s cheeky way of getting revenge on Liverpool and Furnell-Gill, with one saying: “Love it.”
Another added: “His puncher must be feeling heat now.”

A third commented: “Haha that’s great.”
A repeat of Wheatley and Furnell-Gill’s incident was not possible as he was subbed off before the defender came on in the second-half.
James Robert Scanlon and Gabriele Biancheri both scored twice for Man Utd, with Ethan Williams and Ashton Missin also finding the back of the net.
They are now top of the Under-18s Premier League, 13 points above Manchester City in second, and Liverpool sit in fourth.
