Real Madrid prepared to lose Gareth Bale for FREE with Man Utd and Tottenham linked with transfer for outcast

REAL MADRID are reportedly ready to lose Gareth Bale on a free transfer this summer.

Marca claims Zinedine Zidane does not want the Welsh winger, 30, in his squad next season.

Bale came close to joining Chinese Super League moneybags Jiangsu Suning last summer before the deal collapsed.

And Real are keen to ensure they can finally get Bale off the books once and for all by waiving a transfer fee for any interested parties, which could alert Manchester United and Tottenham.

That’s because they fear teams are reluctant to meet the forward’s £350,000-a-week wages.

By getting rid of a transfer fee, Real believe they can offload Bale without any issues in July.

And it would save them paying him for the final two years of his Bernabeu contract, which expires in 2022.

It now remains to be seen where Bale ends up this summer.

United are believed to be keen on striking a deal.

And there is still interest from former side Spurs, where Bale spent six years before joining Real for a then-world record £86million fee in 2013.

It’s reckoned Los Blancos will use their spare funds to help fund a move for either Paris Saint-Germain’s Kylian Mbappe or Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah.

But Bale’s contribution to Real’s success over the past seven seasons cannot be overlooked.

He has scored 105 goals in 249 appearances while netting 33 times for Wales over 83 games.

During his time in Spain, Bale has won four Champions Leagues, three Super Cups, three Club World Cups, one Spanish Cup, one Spanish Supercup and the 2017 La Liga title.

He also led Wales to the Euro 2016 semi-finals, where they were defeated 2-0 by eventual winners Portugal.
