Man City star Kevin De Bruyne has no intention of quitting as agent says ’90 per cent of transfer rumours are bulls***’

KEVIN DE BRUYNE’S agent has quashed any speculation that he will leave Manchester City after branding transfer rumours as “bulls***.”

The Belgium superstar has been linked with moves to Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain following City’s two-year Champions League ban.

De Bruyne, 29, still has three years left on his current contract but could look for an escape route to play in Europe’s elite competition if City’s appeal fails.

But any talk of the former Chelsea man leaving the Etihad appear slim after agent Patrick De Koster revealed his happiness under Pep Guardiola.

Although he did hint that top clubs have shown an interest.

Speaking to Sporza, De Koster said: “He still has a three-year contract with a team that belongs at the top.

“In a club and a city where Kevin feels good and appreciated.

“Of course, there is always interest from other clubs but KDB is not thinking about a transfer right now.

“He has three years left on contract with a top club and feels very valued by the city and the club. 90 per cent of all articles are bulls***.

“There is always an informal interest for a good player in the football world.

“Whether this is KDB or Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo or Antoine Griezmann.”

Earlier this month his manager Guardiola labelled his star man as the best midfielder in the world.

After notching assist number 17 for the season, the Spaniard said: “He is a really good player. A really, really good player. He has something unique.

“He can run, the vision he has. The personality he shows right now, scoring four penalties in a row when we struggled this season with them.

“Right now in the midfield position he is the best.

“Of course he can get better. How? He knows it.”
