Logan Paul reveals he faked ‘three-day body transformation’ before making WWE debut at WrestleMania 38

LOGAN PAUL revealed he faked his ‘three-day body transformation’ before making his WWE debut at WrestleMania 38.Before Paul and The Miz beat Rey Mysterio and his son Dominik at Mania, he posted what he claimed was an amazing transformation.

The YouTuber-turned boxer posted a series of pictures looking rather bloated and then ripped.
And he claimed: “I maintained a regiment of 100 push-ups and 100 sit-ups every day for 3 days in a row. Very happy with the results.”
But the American has now revealed the process took much longer and his regime was inspired by an Anime character.
Paul, 27, said on The MMA Hour: “That was a joke. That was like a month.
“One Punch Man is the strongest anime character of all time, he destroys people with one punch and everybody is like ‘how do you do it? What’s your training regimen?’
“And all he does is 100 push-ups and 100 sit-ups every day and runs 10 miles.”
Paul first boxed in 2018 in a white collar bout against online rival KSI, 28, which ended in a draw.
But he lost their rematch a year later by scrappy split-decision when they turned professional.

Paul only returned last June but did so in a shock exhibition against boxing icon Floyd Mayweather, 45, which ended without a winner.
He is now considering whether to pursue combat sports or continue with WWE.
He revealed: “I’d like a win in some sort of a fighting, combat sport. I think I’d be good at it, too.
“But then again, bro, I’m like, OK, do I f***ing go and get my head kicked in or wrestle and have so much more fun.
“My friends, before the Wrestlemania match, they’re like, ‘Hey, good luck.’ and I’m like, ‘Enjoy the show.’
“Before a boxing match it’s like, ‘I love you, brother. You can do anything you want.’
    “They’re praying for me backstage, my heart’s pounding. It’s a f***ing headache.
“It’s crazy, the difference between a boxing event and a wrestling event, so I don’t know.”

Undeterred, the much-maligned star produced a great performance that included delivering the Three Amigos and a Frog Splash on his opponents.
Paul, with brother Jake Paul watching from the front row, then played a key role as The Miz secured the win for their team.
However, the man who lasted the distance last summer with Floyd Mayweather inside the boxing ring would suffer a painful end to the night.
As he celebrated with his partner, Miz turned his back on Paul and struck him with a Skull Crushing Finale before departing.

“There’s no doubt that The Miz is probably training him correctly, but my son and I have been working really hard and prepping up for this match because it’s an important one.

“For Logan to be present at WrestleMania, coming in as an outsider, it’s a big deal to be able to get the W that night.”
Of course it will not be the first time Paul has stepped foot into the ring, having had three high-profile boxing matches.
He first boxed in 2018 in a white collar bout against online rival KSI, 28, which ended in a draw.
But he lost their rematch a year later by scrappy split-decision when they turned professional.

Watch Logan Paul’s behind-the-scenes training for WWE WrestleMania as he plans to jump off top rope against Mysterios

LOGAN PAUL has promised to come off the top rope against The Mysterios at WrestleMania 38 in his WWE debut. The controversial social media star announced last month that he will make his wrestling debut as The Miz’s tag-team partner.

It is not the first time that The Maverick has been seen inside WWE’s squared-circle – or even his first foray into WrestleMania.
He was at last year’s extravaganza in Tampa Bay to watch Sami Zayn’s match with Kevin Owens, and he received a stunner from KO afterwards.
Paul, 26, was recently captured hitting a heavy bag for the first time since his fight with Floyd Mayweather.
The YouTube star took Money the distance in June’s eight-round exhibition bout.

Paul was then asked to attend The Grandest Stage of Them All – which he accepted.
But, the drama did not end there, as Zayn’s WrestleMania opponent Kevin Owens stormed into the ring, and laid out his rival with a stunner.
On the way out the ring, Owens then bumped into Paul – also a professional boxer – leaving the door open for a feud down the line.
The social media star’s first WWE live appearance followed after it was revealed he featured on the Masked Singer.
This all comes as he prepares to face boxing legend Floyd Mayweather in an exhibition bout this year.
They were initially signed to fight on February 20, but it has been postponed to allow fans to attend.
Paul, 26, has boxed only twice before, both against online rival KSI.
The first was a draw in a white collar bout in 2018, but when the two turned professional a year later, KSI, 27, won by scrappy split-decision.

And his pay-per-view spectacle with Paul is expected to garner unprecedented attention.

Tyson Fury reveals Covid stopped him from fighting at WrestleMania and SummerSlam before facing Drew McIntyre in the UK

TYSON FURY revealed coronavirus stopped him fighting at WrestleMania and SummerSlam.
And he was also due to take on Drew McIntyre in the UK but the virus put pay to that contest too.

Tyson Fury was due to make his return to WWE last year but had to delay the comeback because of coronavirusCredit: Reuters

The WBC heavyweight champion, 32, dethroned Deontay Wilder in his last boxing bout in February 2020.
But after appearing at WWE Crown Jewel four months earlier where he beat Braun Strowman, the Gypsy King was due to make a return to WWE last year.
And that would likely have seen a super showdown between British pair Fury and McIntyre.
He told Behind The Gloves: “I was supposed to go to SummerSlam last year and I was supposed to go to WrestleMania last year.

“And I was also supposed to fight Drew McIntyre in a pay-per-view event in the UK, but none of that happened thanks to Covid.
“So, Covid has cost me SummerSlam, WrestleMania, PPV with Drew McIntyre, the Wilder rematch, and the [Anthony] Joshua fight.
    “So, thank you, Covid.”
Fury and McIntyre, 35, have been at loggerheads on social media since the Scot beat Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 36 last April to become champion.

The duo have repeatedly called each other out to go to war with one another, probably at a UK stadium.
Triple H said it would not be hard to get it arranged – all he had to do was call the WWE executive vice president and a box office blockbuster would be sorted.
Speaking in September, Fury vowed to KO ‘big s***house’ McIntyre.
The 6ft 9ins superstar posted a Twitter video to tell McIntyre: “Big Drew. Big s***house Drew. Listen. Contact my people, Nick Khan, and let’s get it on.
“Get Triple H or Vince (McMahon) to contact Nick and let’s get this fight over the line.”

And he warned the wrestler to forget about his famous Claymore Kick finish – as he is sure he will deliver a devastating finale of his own.
He said: “I’m going to grab your hair. I’ll swing you around that ring.
“Never mind Claymore, you’re going to get knocked the F out by the Gypsy King. That’s my promise, mush.”
Fury is expected to confirm another British showdown in the coming weeks – this time against AJ to put all the heavyweight boxing belts on the line.
But their first fight, due for this summer, is now in jeopardy after Fury told the media he was drinking up to 12 pints per day, had stopped eating and was no longer training.

WWE walkout music and John Cena celebrations help Wallace and Millwall in bid to wrestle Championship play-off spot

JED WALLACE’S pre-match playlist has led Millwall to wrestle their way back into the play-off picture.
The Lions winger has taken his role as squad DJ seriously by swapping generic pop tunes for WWE walkout music to get his team-mates fired up.

Jed Wallace copies John Cena celebration after scoring against BirminghamCredit: Rex Features

After going ten games without a win between October and December, the South Londoners’ aim of bettering last season’s eighth-place finish looked slim.
But with the side now on an eight-game unbeaten run, Wallace’s tactics have got Millwall making their own ring-walk back towards the top six spots.
Wallace, 26, joked: “I won’t take all the credit for it but I will definitely have some!
“You have to play to your crowd. If I played ‘Fields of Gold’ by Sting or something like that, we certainly wouldn’t go out the way we would want to.

“But I can’t pick stuff like The Prodigy because someone would get a red card in the first minute of the game because they are too fired up!
“Usually it is anything from Drake to Kings of Leon to mix it up and keep people happy.
“But Smudge [Matt Smith] asked for a few wrestler tunes.
“We had The Rock, Stone Cold and then John Cena. We also like the Shawn Michaels one, ‘I’m A Sexy Boy’, and  The Big Show one is a classic.

“Everyone our age used to watch wrestling on Saturday mornings, with Raw and Smackdown.
“After games now I watch a few old videos on YouTube of what the greats used to do.
“I have two kids and I can spend a lot of my time practicing my wrestling moves on them. They absolutely love it!”
After scoring two minutes into their home match against Birmingham earlier this month, Wallace followed through on a bet with Smith to re- create the  ‘You Can’t See Me’ celebration of Cena.
But the former Wolves man is now plotting revenge by trying to convince him to go one better next time Smith gets on the scoresheet.
He added: “I have been on to him about doing the Booker T spinaroonie — it could be interesting seeing his 6ft 6in frame try that!

“It is not the same when you don’t score without the fans, so it just keeps us entertained. And when you do score, you’re happy to make a bit of an idiot of yourself.”
Reading-born  Wallace has been with Millwall for most of the past five years, the first two spells on loan from Wolves before the move was made permanent in the summer of 2017.
And with 16 draws already this season, Gary Rowett’s side are renowned for suplexing their opponents into some tight affairs.
Now, after George Evans’ 95th-minute equaliser against Luton on Tuesday kept their unbeaten run intact, Millwall head to fellow overachievers Barnsley today.
But after watching the likes of Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, Triple H and many more top wrestling stars, Wallace is confident his team’s choke-hold approach to football will pay dividends in the final 15 games.

He added: “It can be frustrating when you look at Bristol City, who have lost nearly double the amount of games we have but are only one point behind us.
“The fans may think it can be boring watching us because it is so tight. We aren’t a team to draw 3-3, win 5-3 and then lose 2-0 — but I don’t know any Millwall fans who are disappointed when we win 1-0. It’s about results.
“My message to the lads before the games is, how long can we go unbeaten for?
“Another four or five games and let’s see where it takes us.”

The Gunners have under-performed in the Premier League this season, winning just seven games.
The song was played as their players emerged for the second half of their drab 0-0 draw with Crystal Palace.
Many on social media found the funny side to the song considering Arsenal’s fall from grace in recent years.
One wrote: “Finally, Arsenal have found the right theme song.”

The Gunners have not qualified for the Champions League since they finished second in the Premier League in 2015-16.
Angle, who has been involved in WWE for more than two decades, was also amused by Arsenal’s actions.
He tweeted: “Arsenal using my theme song. The only thing missing, due to COVID, is 30,000 fans chanting ‘You Suck’.
Perhaps Angle was unaware the Emirates holds 60,000.

It is not the first time Arsenal have used a WWE song.
Last July they ran out for the second half of their match against Liverpool with Triple H’s theme tune blaring.
The club’s PA announcer, DJ Selenki, is said to be a big wrestling fan – so it probably won’t be the last time we hear a WWE anthem at the Emirates.
