But she’s much more than Mrs. Berhami.
Lara – who is fluent in FOUR languages – is a Swiss alpine ski race sensation who has a slew of major medals in her trophy cabinet.
She participated in her first-ever race at the FIS races at the tender age of age FIFTEEN back in December 2006.
Appearances at the Alpine Youth World Championships and World Cup followed in 2007, with the then-teenager winning silver in the downhill race in the former competition.

The year 2007 proved to be a successful one for Lara, who became the second youngest Swiss national champion of all time in the super-G.
A slow recovery from a hip would prevent Lara from competing in the 2010 Winter Olympics in Canada.
But she would fulfil her dreams four years later when she competed at the Sochi Games in Russia.
And it was at those Games where she picked up her first Olympic medal in the downhill, winning a bronze medal.

I was a top skiing star – now I’m making my way in new job after sporting career ended in tears aged just 23
After a long and arduous recovery, she returned to action at the 2019 World Championships – although she was a shell of her former self.
But a mere two years later, she claimed gold medals in the Giant Slalom and super-G events.
She would take the winning form into her second Olympics – the 2022 Games in Beijing.
And the tournament proved to be the highlight of her career as she left China with a gold medal after winning the super-G event.
After fulfilling her childhood dream, she said: “I am really happy to have got that gold.
“But you can’t build your life around winning gold.
“I just thought it was probably going to be my last Olympic super-G of my life and I just wanted to show something great. I just wanted to ski.

Inside Geri and Christian Horner’s rollercoaster love story… from controversial engagement to £80k ring & baby struggles

THEIR charmed country life has led to nearly a decade of apparent marital bliss. But Geri Horner was said to be “too upset” to talk to “anyone” this week after her F1 boss husband Christian was hit by allegations of “inappropriate behaviour”.

First introduced to each other by Bernie Ecclestone 15 years ago, the couple are worth an incredible £440million and have piled their fortune into two country manors – including 14 stables for their horses.
The former Spice Girl, who previously sweared off marriage, was steered down the aisle by the Red Bull Racing chief, who proposed following a whirlwind romance – despite having to Google her before their first date.
Their engagement hit an early road bump as Christian’s “devastated” parents refused to attend their wedding in 2015 after he moved on swiftly from ex Beverley Allen, whom he was with for 14 years.
Having put that crisis behind them, he will be hoping to weather another storm as he prepares for a ‘D-Day’ showdown with a lawyer tomorrow.

The 50-year-old is accused of “controlling behaviour” with a female work colleague, amid claims he could be gone by “next week” after “losing support” from the Red Bull team.
Sources say the investigation is set to centre on the employee’s concerns about Horner’s strict work regime and does not relate to any sexual impropriety.
The news has reportedly sent Geri, who is often seen cheering on her husband’s championship-winning team at Grand Prixs, into “full lockdown”.
But a source told the Mail: “She will stand by him and be at his side just as much as she always has been. She never misses a race and that will not change.”

    Whirlwind romance
Geri first met Christian through her F1 boss pal Bernie Ecclestone after he invited her to the Monaco Grand Prix in 2009.
Christian told the Telegraph: “(Geri) was a guest of (former CEO of the Formula One Group) Bernie Ecclestone’s in Monaco one year and came down the pit lane.
Geri Horner transforms into White Spice as she ditches colourful clothes in favour of ‘ladylike’ white outfits
“I remember (McLaren boss) Ron Dennis was standing next to me and Eddie Jordan was there as well.
“She gave Ron a kiss on the cheek, and she gave Eddie a kiss on the cheek. So I thought, ‘OK, I’m on for a kiss on the cheek here!’ And I went to give her one and she shoved her hand out at me.”
At the time, Christian was with his former pub landlady partner Beverley Allen, and was stepdad to her two children, Kieron, 35, and Liam, 31.
The couple had dreamed of having a child of their own and in October 2013, Beverley gave birth to a daughter, Olivia.
Sadly, six months after the birth, the couple split and by March 2014, Christian had moved on with Geri.
I didn’t marry Geri because she’s a Spice Girl. I married her because I fell in love with herChristian
Remarkably, it later emerged that the racing fanatic had never even heard of one of the Spice Girls’ biggest hits before their first date, according to the Mirror.
A source told the newspaper: “Before they went on their first date, Christian googled Geri – and found a video of her doing the song.
“Geri found it hilarious that he had to research her beforehand and the song has become a running joke.”
Christian later said: “I didn’t marry Geri because she’s a Spice Girl. I married her because I fell in love with her.”
In October 2014, the new couple announced their engagement in The Times newspaper. Christian proposed with an elegant diamond engagement ring thought to be worth almost £80,000.

Geri said her mother’s divorce had put her off getting married, but that everything had changed after she met Christian.
She explained: “The thing is my mother, she got divorced so it kind of put me off a bit if I’m honest and I hadn’t met anyone that I felt it was right (with) really.
“And when I met Christian, I automatically knew, I did, I actually said to my friend, ‘I think I’ve met the man I want to marry’.
They tied the knot in a stunning ceremony at St Mary’s Church in Woburn, Bedfordshire, in May 2015, with celebrity guests including fellow Spice Girl Emma Bunton, Amanda Holden and Myleene Klass.
Geri wore a dress by British designer Phillipa Lepley and belted out a solo performance of Wannabe in a cheeky nod to their first date at a reception on the grounds of Woburn Abbey after the wedding.

After the engagement was announced, one of his devastated relatives told the Sunday Mirror: “You can say that his parents are absolutely devastated. We won’t be going to the wedding.
“There is a lot more to this story than people know about – to do with his ex-partner.”
However, Christian and Geri, who has a daughter called Bluebell Madonna from a previous relationship, eventually managed to patch things up with his parents and Beverley.
Christian told the Telegraph: “I have a great relationship with Beverley and Beverley gets on with Geri.

She told Red magazine: “I’d tried an assisted route and it didn’t work.
“I feel for any woman that has that natural biological longing, it’s tough.
“I’d got to thinking I have a child, my husband has a daughter, and accepting this is our lot. Then Monty came naturally.”
The Spice Girl later admitted that Monty had picked up some of her rebellious traits.
That same year, she told Hello!: “He’s a pretty chilled baby for the most part, which he gets more from Christian, but then we’ll encounter a bit of protest and I think, ‘Ah, there’s the Halliwell!’.”

In the decade since their marriage, Geri and Christian appear to have blended seamlessly into each others’ lives.

‘It’s crawling with rats,’ say neighbours of Amir Khan’s £11.5m ‘Dubai-style’ wedding venue surrounded by rubbish

FUMING neighbours have slammed Amir Khan’s £11.5million “Dubai-style” wedding venue – claiming it’s “crawling with rats” and surrounded by mountains of rubbish. The former world champion boxer, 37, is set to open the Balmayna building in his hometown Bolton next month.

But residents say the venue is already a magnet for fly-tipping, with the alleyway next to it left in a “disgusting” state.
Snaps show dirty mattresses, fridges, settees, wheelie bins packed with rubble and bags of rubbish dumped behind neighbours’ homes.
Local shopkeeper Abdura Wadiya, 56, said: “It’s been a nightmare.
“People come and just dump rubbish and we’ve had a lot of rats everywhere.

“There’s been a ton of rubbish outside my shop in the alley.”
Adbura added: “I spoke to Amir Khan about it and he said, ‘Don’t worry, I’ll sort it’.
“And it looks like he has. He’s a good man.”
Bolton Council workers were clearing the alleyway when The Sun visited.

Team boss Clive Haslam said: “We struggled to drive a van down here when we arrived as there was so much debris.
“Fridges, beds, settees, wheelie bins full of bricks and all sorts have been dumped here.
“It’s not actually the council’s responsibility – but we were asked to come, so we did.”
    THAT’S RUBBISH
Shopkeeper Rebaz Chalabe, 43, said: “It’s taken a long time to build – more than seven years.
“But it looks good and will be good for the area. I have been inside and seen it.
“It looks magnificent and will be a great place to get married.
“Hopefully it will be good for my shop with lots more people in the area.”
Rebaz added: “The only problem has been the rubbish.
“You get people coming from miles away dumping all their rubbish.
“It has become a real fly-tipping hotspot and a problem for everyone.
“But hopefully Amir will put up CCTV cameras and fingers crossed that will stop people.”
Neighbour Baber Sayed’s house backs onto the rubbish-filled alleyway.
Baber, 52, said: “The rubbish has been a real problem – and I worry about all the traffic when the venue opens.
“There will be a lot of cars coming here.”
    BOXED OFF
Khan’s glass-fronted wedding venue looms above neighbouring homes.
The £11.5million building is lined with palm trees and boasts its own waterfall.
But some locals have said that the building looks it belongs to Dubai, not Bolton.
A spokesman for the Balmayna said: “With immense joy, the wait is nearly over.
“We will soon unveil the grand opening of The Balmayna, Bolton’s newest wedding haven.
“A splendid project between Excellency Midlands and Amir Khan, where elegance seamlessly meets excellence.”
    ‘TOUCH OF MAGNIFICENCE’
Khan, who splits his time between Bolton and Dubai, is set to open the luxury venue next month.
It’s said to be the “brainchild” of the boxer, who is married to and has three children with Pakistani-American YouTuber Faryal Makhdoom.
The venue’s website says the site will be able to host “a wedding like no other in the UK” and promises it will exceed expectations.
It reads: “This wedding venue is the brainchild of Amir Khan, the world champion boxer, ensuring a touch of magnificence and excellence in every celebration.”
