      Christian, who has categorically denied all claims, was put through an eight-hour grilling as part of an independent investigation and his fate will reportedly be decided within 10 days.
      It risks ending his 19-year career with Red Bull Racing, where he’s paid in excess of £8million a year, and putting a sizeable dent in the fortune earned by him and his ex-Spice Girl wife Geri. 
      The couple have netted tens of millions of pounds over the years, with a fortune of at least £50million, which has afforded them an enviable and comfortable country lifestyle.

      £8M Red Bull salary
      Red Bull boss Christian is believed to be the highest-paid team principal in F1 and began working for them in 2005 . 
      Company accounts reports, which span between 2011 and 2022, show the F1 boss has been paid a staggering £40.2million over that 11-year period. 
      His 2022 pay from Red Bull was listed at £8,044,000, which was almost £3million higher than the £5,085,000 salary he bagged a year earlier.
      It’s an impressive hike from his £1,343,000 salary back in 2011.

      The bombshell claims that have rocked F1F1 was rocked earlier this month by the sudden news that Christian Horner had been placed under investigation by Red Bull’s Austria-based parent company.
      This was thought to be over a “dossier of incriminating material” regarding “inappropriate and controlling behaviour” towards one female, The Telegraph reported.
      Red Bull’s Austrian parent company flew an independent lawyer to the UK to question the multi-millionaire race ace and his accuser.
      The former racing driver, who runs world champion Max Verstappen’s all-conquering Red Bull team, endured an eight-hour grilling over the claims last week.
      Most recently however, more allegations have come out as the De Telegraaf reported that Horner allegedly sent sex messages to his employee “over an extended period of time”.
      Messages were said to have been saved and presented as evidence to the external ­barrister running the inquiry after the woman made a complaint last December.
      Mr Horner categorically denied the new allegations and is thought to be taking legal action against De Telegraaf.
      An F1 source told The Sun last week that “Christian has not been sacked or asked to resign and he is not going to resign”.
      The investigation raises the question of who could take over the helm of the all-conquering racing team of world champion Max Verstappen.
      His wife Geri Halliwell is also said to be “terrified her life will unravel” amid Horner’s “inappropriate behaviour” probe.
      The ex-Spice Girl, who was “in floods of tears” when the Red Bull boss was hit with the bombshell allegations, fears the drama will drag on for years, a source has claimed. 
      But Geri, 51, is understood to be standing by her husband.
      She has told pals: “Christian has done nothing wrong.”
      Horner has overseen a huge period of success for the racing team – winning multiple F1 championships with Sebastian Vettel and Verstappen.
      Red Bull has won seven Formula One world drivers’ championships and six world ­constructors’ titles under Horner’s leadership.
      Last season, the team won 21 of the 22 races on the global F1 tour, and Verstappen, 26, won the drivers’ crown.

      The Daily Mail reported that the firm was worth £3million the following year and she paid herself £1million from the company.
      The paper also claims Wonderful Productions made £152,000 profit in 2022 and Geri paid herself £762,240 that year. 
      Last year’s accounts showed losses of £77,994 but held reserves of nearly £1.4million. 
      Geri also has the firm Falcon Queen Limited, which was set up in May 2021 to provide “business support activities”. All shares are owned by Wonderful Productions.
      According to the Mail, Falcon Queen Limited made losses of £75,521 last year and plunged £276,000 into the red. 
      Geri is still believed to receive earnings for Spice Girls Limited – a joint venture between her, Victoria, Mel B, Mel C and Emma Bunton.

      The Horners have a number of race horses, all of whom are named after Geri’s songs and covers including It’s Raining Men, Look At Mee, Lift Me Up and Mi Chico Latino.
      Among the most successful is Lift Me Up, an eight-year-old male who was born in 2016 and cost £28,000. 
      The horse, real name Hector, was lined up as a potential Cheltenham Festival hopeful but hasn’t run since last May. 
      Lift Me Up, who has raced at least twice, earned the couple £2,361.18 in prize money for winning a race in front of 70,000 punters, according to the British Horseracing Authority.

      Its latest accounts, for the year ended 30 June 2022, showed they held £113,378 in “biological assets” – believed to refer to the horses – and £400,000 worth of goods.
      The company retained £68,852 in funds after bills were deducted. 
      Last year, work finished on a 14-horse stable, including two foaling stalls, at their Oxfordshire home and ex-jockey Maxine Filby was hired to run the yard.
      Christian told The Telegraph his passion for horses was “just a bit of fun” and “escapism away from the madness of F1”. 
      He said: “We don’t really know what we’re doing but it’s exciting. It’s something Geri and I both get a kick out of and something we enjoy as a family.” 
      Rental properties
      Away from the equine world, the couple also have a buy-to-let business named Estelle Ward, which was set up in 2021.
      It’s listed as the owner of a £2.1million flat in Highgate, North London, according to Land Registry. 
      The latest accounts for Estelle Ward lists property assets of £2.4million with a £1.6million ‘loan facility’, which the couple pays interest on at 1 per cent above the Bank of England base rate.

      Instead of finally putting that hoodoo to bed, this North London crop have emphatically breathed new life back into the beast.
      A nervy, below-par night from Arsenal at the Estadio do Dragao without a single shot on target ended with the hosts landing a spectacular last-minute sucker punch through Galeno’s long-range beauty.
      It seemed to hang in the air for an eternity before looping over David Raya’s outstretched dive and nestling into the bottom corner. Having missed a sitter in the first half, the Brazilian celebrated his redemption wildly.
      Next month’s second leg at the Emirates is now do or die for Arsenal and Mikel Arteta in a competition that often throws surprises and early exits their way.

      In a desperately poor first half for the visitors, Galeno of Porto should have joined that pantheon of players still giving Arsenal fans nightmares earlier than expected.
      You will not see a miss like the Brazilian’s in the 20th minute for the rest of this season, or any season for that matter. It is hard to think of a worse one in recent European history.
      Gabriel half-cleared a cross with the ball spinning into the air inside the six-yard box. Saliba froze, allowing Galeno to breeze past him and connect with a fierce half volley.
      It smacked Raya’s right post and back into the path of Galeno, the Spanish keeper rooted to his own line, but the rebound was somehow fizzed wide of the opposite post.
      The majority of the stadium believed it had nestled into the bottom corner, rather than smacking the advertising boards. The stadium DJ briefly blasted some celebratory music.
      Arteta gestured to his players to stay calm, even if inside he was livid with his side’s apparent lack of urgency to break Porto down.
      It should have come as no surprise to Arsenal or Arteta that Porto would be defensively efficient, especially at home. In the Primeira Liga, they have not conceded in front of their own fans since December 9.
      Faltering from open play, even Arsenal’s trusted set-piece routines – usually orchestrated and executed to perfection – were falling flat, even if Saliba did come close with a header.
      Porto were gaining confidence up the other end as Evanilson tested Raya from a tight angle just before the break. Arteta welcomed the half time whistle with open arms.
      Arsenal’s efforts to build momentum were being disrupted by their opponents’ desire to win cheap fouls and earn the likes of Kai Havertz and Jakub Kiwior more harsh yellows.
      In the 55th minute, a corner routine finally came off but Rice’s skimmed pick-out of Leandro Trossard at the far post was blazed over. Gabriel headed over a free-kick late on.
      That was as good as it got for Arsenal, failing to score in a match in all competitions for the first time since January 7, and then came Galeno who took charge and fired in from around 30 yards.

      Faiq is the nephew of the Sultan of Brunei, Hassanal Bolkiah – a man who is worth up to £23billion and widely regarded as the second richest royal walking the planet.

      Ratchaburi president Thanawat Nitikarnchana said: “Today is a very sad day as Faiq has suffered serious injuries from yesterday’s match.
      “He will undergo surgery soon. I extend my condolences to Faiq from everyone.
      “This is his first major injury, but we will take care of Faiq to the best of our ability and look forward to the day Faiq returns to play with us again.”

      But over the course of an F1 career the figures are even more staggering, with the likes of Lewis Hamilton and Michael Schumacher reaching mega-wealth status.
      Accounting for the huge salaries some drivers command, plus sponsorship deals and property portfolios, net worths are in the region of hundreds of millions.

      He also has a great affinity for cars, with his collection worth around £2.3m.
      Verstappen also lives in Monaco, which is not exactly on the cheap end of the property market.

      Pep Guardiola’s lavish life off the pitch – from writing off car collection worth £460k to unusual £2.7m Manchester home

      HE’S the football manager who has broken multiple records on the pitch – and has one more in his sights.With the second half of the Premier League season underway, Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola, 53, is gunning for a fourth title in a row, which will further cement his status as one of the league’s all-time greats.

      Before becoming a head coach, he played for FC Barcelona, where he starred for Johan Cruyff’s legendary ‘Dream Team’, as well as subsequent sides like Roma and the Spanish national team.
      But it’s his time as a manager where Pep has shone even more, notching up achievements including becoming the only manager to win the continental treble twice.
      It’s helped Pep to amass an impressive fortune – he is reportedly worth £100million and paid £19.7million a year by the Blues.

      Despite having driven a range of enviable motors, Pep is renowned for not being the world’s greatest driver.
      Last year, we reported that he has damaged cars collectively worth £460,000 since joining Man City in February 2016. 
      They included a £200,000 silver Bentley, GTX700, a £150,000 Range Rover, an £80,000 black Mercedes GLE and a £30,000 Mini Cooper.
      A source said: “Pep is brilliant at many things but driving doesn’t appear to be one of them, he has struggled with the roads in Manchester and had a couple of bumps.”

      After winning the treble – the Premier League, UEFA Champions League and FA Cup – in 2023, Pep celebrated with a trip to Egypt with Cristina and their children Maria, 23; Marius, 21; and Valentina, 16.
      They spent two days in Cairo and six days exploring Aswan and Luxor, where they visited the Sphinx and the Great Pyramid of Giza. 
      During the trip, Pep was showered with gifts including a replica of King Tutankhamun’s mask – and treated to lunch in a hotel overlooking the pyramids.
      “We welcomed him with flowers, souvenirs and promotional material about various Egyptian tourist and archaeological sites,” Nisreen Othmanli, from Egypt’s tourism board, told Arab News.

      That same year, he was seen on a romantic boat trip, dining at fancy restaurants and browsing expensive shops, in Venice, Italy.
      Ahead of joining Man City back in 2016, Pep took some time out with his family on a private yacht that they sailed along the Ibiza coastline.

      In 2017, Pep splashed out on one of the most expensive properties sold that year in Greater Manchester.
      He spent £2.7million on a luxury apartment in City Suites, which was in the “most desirable address” in Salford, next to a wealth of designer shops, high-end restaurants and wine bars. 
      As part of the deal, Pep had access to an 18-metre indoor spa pool, an exquisite spa and sauna facilities as well as a 24-hour gym. 
      Other benefits included two private parking spots, a 24-hour concierge team, dry-cleaning services and access to a private executive lounge.  
      Pep’s apartment is in a private section of the hotel, which is believed to occupy two of 16 floors. Guests can also rent rooms per night or opt for longer stays too.
      It was considered an unusual option due to most footballers from Manchester City and United choosing to live in leafy Cheshire, known for its sprawling mansions in the countryside.

      Pep also bought an 8,000-square-foot mansion in Pedarlbes, which is the most expensive area in Barcelona, for £8.55million back in 2021 .
      The stunning white home is nestled in the foothills of Sant Pere Màrtir mountain and boasts breathtaking views of the city. 
      It features a spacious living area, a high-end kitchen, a large private swimming pool and balconies across two of the storeys to take advantage looking out of over the picturesque landscape. 
      During a one-year work sabbatical in 2012, Pep lived in a luxurious New York apartment that cost £19,500-per-month and overlooked Central Park. 
      The building, located in Upper West Side, used to be the home of other celebs including X-Files actor David Duchovny and Barbara Streisand. 
      Inside the apartment was four bedrooms, bathrooms and a study, where it’s claimed the manager practised German before taking over at Bayern Munich.  
      Wardrobe fit for a model
      Pep has become known for his style at the Etihad Stadium, often sporting turtle necks and branded jumpers instead of always going for stuffy suits. 
      Among his outfits is his signature grey ‘hoodigan’, which was made by Theresa May’s favourite Italian designer Herno and reportedly costs £1,200.
      The manager was seen wearing the oversized item – considered “lucky” by fans – 30 times between the start of the 2019 season and May. 
      Pep has also been pictured in ‘MDCR’ – referring to ‘Madchester’ – jumpers and an array of items with the letter ‘P’ on them. 
      Earlier this month, he revealed his fashion choices are made by his wife Cristina – whom he met while he was modelling designer gear in Serra Claret, a fashion store owned by her family in Barcelona.

      Perhaps he is playing down his own fashion credentials, however. In throwback snaps from the Nineties, Pep was seen modelling on the catwalk for Antonio Miró, while playing for Barcelona.
      It was reported that every item from the Catalonian designer sold out just a few days after the event.

      Among them was a Richard Mille (RM) RM 27-01 Tourbillon Rafael Nadal, which he was pictured with on a golf course, that costs around £590,000 due to there only being ten in the world.  
      Other ultra-expensive timepieces seen on his wrist include a £455,000 RM 022 Tourbillon Aerodyne, a £75,000 RM 010 ‘Manchester City’ and the RM 004 All Gray, which costs more than £150,000.
      Last year Pep was seen wearing a RM 67-02 watch – they typically cost £228,000 but his timepiece was a United Arab Emirates edition, which is not for sale.
      He has also been seen sporting a £55,000 Patek Philippe Annual Calendar Chronograph 5905P and a £12,500 Rolex Cellini.

      In 2021, it was reported that Pep forked out £200,000 on a Spanish vineyard’s finest vintage bottles and reportedly drinks a glass or two after football matches.
      Friends told The Daily Star that he spent as much as £500,000 on fancy reds including the very best Riojas, prized Priorat and Dibera del Duero labels.
      A source said: “His main interest is that of a collector of fine vintages, and he sees the value of them as investments… Not only does he enjoy a glass of wine, he really knows his stuff too.”
