      Arsenal jump ahead of Barcelona in Youri Tielemans transfer race as Mikel Arteta looks to grab Leicester ace on cheap

      ARSENAL are reportedly in pole position to secure the services of Youri Tielemans for a cut price with his contract set to expire in the summer. The Gunners are supposedly leading the race to sign the Leicester man ahead of Barcelona.
      Youri Tielemans has been a huge part of Leicester’s season this year scoring three goals and registering one assist so far.
      Tielemans is available for a low price with the Belgian international only having six months left on his current deal.
      The 25-year-old is free to speak to overseas clubs regarding a free transfer in the summer from January 1.
      But it’s Leicester’s Premier League rivals Arsenal that are closest to signing Tielemans according to Spanish newspaper, Sport.
      They state that the North London side are willing to offer £20million to tempt Tielemans to the Emirates Stadium.

      Mikel Arteta’s side were linked with a move for the central midfielder in the summer, but nothing materialised.
      Now sat top of the Premier League table they may look a more enticing outfit for prospective players.
      Tielemans has been coy on his future, but spoke in September about his time with Leicester.
      He said: “I’m not going to speak too much about my contract situation at the moment.

      “My family is very happy there [in Leicester] and that’s important. I didn’t leave in the summer as I always said the project had to be the right one.
      “Just because things are getting worse now at Leicester doesn’t mean I should regret [staying]. Whether you are in your last contract year or not, it’s also not the case that I talk to the club every day about my extension or not. That’s work for my agent.”
      Leicester are currently 13th in the league after a mixed start to the season. More

      It is also selling two-pint pitchers of Fosters lager and Strongbow cider for £3.45, working out at just over £1.72 per pint. 
      A cocktail glass is also going for as cheap as £2.90, while a pitcher will be £5.40.
      And while the deal is only available for England’s game tomorrow, they will bring it back if they make it to the next round.
      Nathan Ahmad, 22, who works at the family-run bar in Herne Bay, Kent, told The Sun: “We are showing the football this year and we’re doing special deals for it.

      “We do these things to give back to the community.
      “It’s essential for human beings to be able to leave their house and socialise with others.
      “This is currently difficult with the current cost of living crisis but we hope that deals like these make it possible without breaking the bank.
      “I can almost guarantee this makes us one of the cheapest bars in Britain.

      “Being a family-run business we like to do things like this to give back to the community.
      “We’re a community-venue. Everyone knows us. There’s no room for greed.”
      Bottles of beer are usually £3.50, cocktail glasses are usually £4.95 and pitchers are usually £8.40.
      Cocktails on offer include Pornstar Martini’s, Sex On The Beach, Blue Lagoon, Tequila Sunrise and Long Island Ice Tea.
      The bar, which has free entry, also turns into a club later in the evening so fans can celebrate there if England secure a win.
      And it is the first World Cup the bar has ever shown in its 14-year history. It showed its first Euros tournament last year too.
      Meanwhile, another pub has been offering punters lower prices for a pint if England do well.

      The Rec Bar’s Rob Field, 45, and Olly Clayson, 44, promised to keep dropping the price of a pint by 50p every time England scores in Qatar.
      It meant their cheapest pint of Thatchers Gold or Fosters had been slashed from £3.50 to just 50p for England’s 6-2 win against Iran.

      MANCHESTER UNITED and Newcastle face a huge penalty if they want to land Brighton star Moises Caicedo.The Red Devils missed the chance to snap up the Ecuador midfield marauder, 21, two years ago.

      And now it will cost them £60-70million if they are to prise Caicedo away from the south coast, where he is a firm favourite.
      Both Uniteds wished to buy Caicedo from Ecuadorian outfit Independiente del Valle — but Brighton had already been over to watch him.
      Despite phone calls during Covid restrictions, the Reds and Magpies lost out to the Seagulls’ sales pitch as they snapped him up for £3.6m in February 2021.
      Sources close to Caicedo say he was persuaded by the way Brighton pushed hardest when he was a relative unknown.

      Now Caicedo is wanted by a host of top clubs, who also include Chelsea.
      The deal is potentially a big triumph for Brighton, who committed to the player after watching just a handful of games backed by a slick stats department.
      Their swoop came after Caicedo made his international debut to make sure he would get a work permit but before rich rivals could step in.
      The Seagulls are also signing Argentinian kid Facundo Buonanotte, 17, who joins in a £10m deal next month from Rosario Central.

      The south coast side have shown a willingness to sell their prized assets if the price has been right for them in the past.

      Brighton have started this season well and have managed to overcome the loss of boss Graham Potter who left for Chelsea.

      So quick was his movement, so slight his touch, that Taylor failed to spot it – and neglected to give a corner.
      Salah had surged goalwards after first-time passing split City’s defence, but Ederson stood his ground and then flung himself to his right to fingertip the ball behind.
      Armchair observers were stunned by the save and furious Salah’s shot was NOT recorded as an effort on target due to the ref awarding a goal-kick.

      The coronavirus lockdown saw Capetillo’s Las Vegas gym close and the Mexican admitted to having “empty pockets”.

      “When he knew we were locked down because of Covid-19 and my gym was closed, he texted me and said: ‘Is there anything I can do to help?’
      “He is still taking care of me. He sent me money.
      “I was supposed to be with Jessie Vargas in New York on March 14 (2020) but the fight was cancelled and I came home with empty pockets.

      “He knew Jessie’s fight was cancelled. He asked about my family and what he could do.
      “He said: ‘I’ll sort out some money for your family so you can be good’. Such generosity for me and my family.

      Capetillo went on to describe how once he “controlled the bleeding” against Wallin he told Fury that “everything will be good”.

      Fury then went on to destroy Wilder in February that year to win the one heavyweight belt he never had before.
