Beckham has taken to Instagram to confirm his arrival at the American third-tier outfit, by writing “Footballer for @fortlauderdalecf” in his bio.

Harvey Neville – son of ex-Red Devils full-back Phil and current boss of Inter Miami – joined in May.
The midfielder, 19, has featured in 14 league matches this term as Fort Lauderdale sit fourth in the table.
Commenting on his son’s move, Phil said at the time: “It was his decision to leave Manchester United and every move he’s made has been like that.
“He has taken some brave moves in his career, he came out to do some training and to see his dad and really enjoyed it.
“He impressed everybody but it is quite difficult (for me) because when he’s at the club he is just another player.

“So I have left a lot of the decision making on Harvey to other people at the club, Anthony Pulis (Inter Miami assistant coach) has taken a real interest in him.
“I am harder on Harvey than on any other player in the team but ultimately he has signed for the USL team and it’s a great opportunity for him.
“He’s so excited to be here and it is a new adventure for him.”

His property is said to be just a 30-minute drive away from Miami, with records showing proof of the Chilean international’s purchase at the Ritz-Carlton Residences.
It has also been stated that the 32-year-old would be given access to a private club on the 33rd floor of the 52-storey tower, which includes a beachfront restaurant, pool deck and full-service spa, as well as a fitness centre and wellness centre.
An official website for the apartment block describes it as a “sumptuous urban oasis” of 212 condominium homes including four penthouses.
The 649ft residential tower provides sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean.
According to The Real Deal, the Ritz-Carlton had declined to comment on the alleged purchase from Sanchez.

Ex-Man Utd star Gabriel Heinze sacked by Atlanta United after just 13 MLS matches after horror start to season

GABRIEL HEINZE has been given the boot as Atlanta United boss after registering just TWO wins from his 13 games in charge. The former Manchester United full-back took up the reins of the MLS side after the axing of Frank de Boer and Stephen Glass’s stint as interim head coach.

Heinze’s disappointing spell in the dug-out ended in a 1-0 home defeat to MLS East Conference division leaders New England Revolution.
His assistant Rob Valentino has been appointed as the club’s new interim head coach.
Club chiefs, who expressed gratitude for Heinze’s efforts, believe the sacking of the former Red Devils left-back was for the best of the team.
It is reported they have denied his axing was linked to a feud with star striker Josef Martinez who had been training away from the rest of the squad.
Carlos Bocanegra, Atlanta United’s technical director said: “Out of respect for Gabi we’re not going to air everything out.
“’We’ve had a number of concerning issues over the past several months and the process of evaluating them brought us to this decision today.”
Darren Eales, the club’s president added: “This was certainly not a decision we wanted to make at this point in our season, but it was the right one for the club
“Gabi is a talented coach and is undeniably passionate about his craft and the sport of soccer.
“We are grateful to him for his service and wish him all the best in the future.”
Martinez, 28, has netted 92 goals in 114 Atlanta United appearances since his 2017 move to the side from Torino.
However, the Venezuelan had reportedly been ordered to train by himself and was benched during his team’s loss to New England.

And the striker was not included in Atlanta’s squad for their last six MLS games.

Ex-Arsenal star Kieran Gibbs trains with David Beckham’s Inter Miami as he links up with team-mates after transfer

KIERAN GIBBS is preparing to enter Inter Miami’s nightmare season after starting training with the MLS team.David Beckham’s Florida franchise have struggled near the bottom of the table and faced a huge fine for breaking financial rules.

But the arrival of ex-Arsenal ace Gibbs will be seen as another piece in the jigsaw for the young club, in only its second season.
The 31-year-old, released by West Brom, joins fellow English football exiles Ryan Shawcross, Brek Shea, and coach Phil Neville in the Inter ranks.
Gonzalo Higuain and Blaise Matuidi are also on board to provide much-needed experience and star power yet the French midfielder’s arrival has done little to help the Miami coffers.
MLS fined the team £1.4million in May for incorrectly registering his arrival under targeted allocation funds, when he was meant to be a designated player.
Inter chief Jose Mas was fined £176,000, amid a number of charges for the club, with Beckham and other co-owners cleared of any wrongdoing.
Inter are languishing in 13th place of the 14-team Eastern Conference and no side in all of MLS has claimed fewer than their two wins this season.
Neville’s side last managed a victory on May 16 and have also brought in Aston Villa youngster Indiana Vassilev on loan to bolster the attack.
Conference leaders New England Revolution are on the horizon in a tricky run of fixtures that could up the pressure on the former England women’s coach.
Neville said after Inter’s defeat to Montreal last time out: “This run is unacceptable.
“Ultimately you’re judged on results, and we’ve lost five straight games and that is unacceptable.

“The players are as disappointed as I’ve seen them. But the luck will change for us. We know what we have to do.
“We have to attack the rest of the season going into the meat of the season. We’re coming to a marathon, three games a week, playing the best teams.
“No more hiding places. We can’t hide behind injuries. Can’t hide behind international call ups. It’s win time.”

Willian’s Inter Miami transfer collapses after Arsenal star demands more than DOUBLE top earner Gonzalo Higuain’s wages

INTER MIAMI have pulled out of a move for Willian.SunSport understands the Arsenal man wanted around £8.7million a year – £167,000 per week – to play in MLS which is too much for David Beckham’s side.
Willian has priced himself out of a transfer to MLS side Inter MiamiCredit: Getty
It’s a blow for boss Phil Neville who hopes to offload Mexican international Rodolfo Pizarro this month to a club back home in Liga MX.
That would then free up a designated player spot which Neville wanted to use for Willian, 32, before his demands proved too much.
Out-of-sorts Gonzalo Higuain is the club’s current top earner, bagging an annual salary of £4.19million or £80,500 per week.
Willian’s Arsenal contract expires in 2023 but he wants to quit the Gunners after a difficult first season.
Becks, though, needs a star signing in south Florida to start producing now with former Real Madrid and Argentina frontman Higuain struggling with his fitness levels.
The 33 year-old was dropped from the Inter Miami squad for the trip to DC United on June 19.
However, he came off the bench to score in last weekend’s home defeat to Orlando, Higuain still has work to do to reach the desired level.
Higuain has been put on a specialized fitness plan at the club’s Fort Lauderdale HQ.
