      Chalmers, 35, welcomes the American legend to a British ring for the first time ever on February 25 at the O2 Arena.
      And he is hoping to line up the biggest names from the celebrity-boxing scene after sharing the ring with boxing royalty.
      Chalmers tweeted: “The king is back @KSI @tommytntfury @jakepaul. Let’s fight this year once I smoke @FloydMayweather.”
      The reality TV favourite in 2017 turned to professional MMA and went on to amass a 5-2 record, even signing for American promotion Bellator.

      But last year he made a switch to boxing and beat Alexander Zeledon, 32, on points over four rounds.
      Meanwhile Mayweather, 45, officially retired in 2017 after beating ex-UFC champion Conor McGregor, 34.
      But he has returned for five exhibitions since against stars of the MMA, social media and boxing world.
      His most recent came in November against YouTuber Deji, 26, which he won in six rounds.

      Mayweather initially revealed Muay Thai veteran Liam Harrison, 37, as his return opponent for his UK debut.
      But Harrison was forced to deny ever signing to fight and pulled out amid a knee injury.
      So Chalmers, who approached a member of Mayweather’s team personally, threw his name into the hat.
      And his celeb background mixed in with a degree of fighting experience was enough to convince The Money Team into offering him a deal.

      FLOYD MAYWEATHER has announced he will fight Geordie Shore star Aaron Chalmers at the O2 Arena in February.The unbeaten American boxing legend was already set to show off his skills in the UK next month.

      But his original bout against Liam Harrison was KO’d on Friday after the Brit suffered a knee injury.
      It saw Mayweather scour the sparring world for a new opponent.
      And he has now revealed he will be taking on reality TV star-turned-MMA fighter Chalmers at the O2.
      Alongside a poster of the event, Mayweather wrote on social media: “London. This will be my first time showcasing my talent live on Feb. 25th. I want the whole UK at the O2 Arena.”

      A second message added: “Different face, different name, same results. London we are still rocking and rolling on Feb. 25th at the O2 Arena. Tickets will be on sale soon. Stay tuned!!”
      Mayweather, 45, retired with a perfect 50-0 professional record following his win over Conor McGregor in 2017.
      But he is no stranger to exhibition fights since then, battling the likes of YouTuber-turned-WWE star Logan Paul and kickboxing legend Tenshin Nasukawa.
      Mayweather’s latest win came against KSI’s brother Deji in November.

      The 35-year-old made his name as a party-loving member of the Geordie Shore cast.
      However, Chalmers made his way into MMA with BAMMA in 2017 before becoming a Bellator star.
      Chalmers won five of his seven pro bouts before retiring in 2021 after losing to Austin Clem.

      AARON CHALMERS has rescheduled his professional boxing debut to June 17 in Liverpool. The Geordie Shore star was set to fight in April but suffered a broken nose, meaning his switch from MMA to boxing faced a delay.

      But Chalmers is now due to enter the ring for the first time at the M&S Bank Arena, which will be televised for free on Channel 5.
      He said: “I feel like my debut has been a long time coming now and what better place to have it than in Liverpool, it’s always a cracking atmosphere there.
      “I can’t wait to put on a show and get my boxing career rolling.”
      Chalmers left the cage with a 5-2 record, having fought four times for US promotion Bellator.

      And after spending a year and a half learning the craft with esteemed boxing coach Adam Booth, he was ready lace up the gloves.
      But Chalmers announced he broke his nose in March and was unable to fight.
      The reality TV favourite had signed with Sky Sports and promotional banner Boxxer to debut in the middleweight division.
      But his debut will instead fall with Wasserman on terrestrial TV.

      The pair quickly hit it off after the 22-year-old ace’s arrival in Glasgow from Leicester City and Molly loved his sense of humour.
      Although their romance never stood the test of time, she isn’t surprised that her former flame is being linked with moves to top Premier League sides after man of the match performances in both the Europa League and Scottish Cup finals recently.

      Meanwhile, former Rangers and Celtic striker Kenny Miller reckons Bassey can replicate Kieran Tierney when it comes to club record transfers.
      But while he stopped short of saying Bassey as a player can be compared to Tierney but as a prospect, he thinks his performances have earned him a hefty price tag that he says Ibrox chiefs must stick to.
      He told Clyde1’s Superscoreboard: “You have to be starting at £15m minimum.

      “I’m not suggesting that he’s achieved the same amount as Kieran Tierney because Kieran played for a number of years at Celtic and won all kinds of trophies and performed at Champions League level, Europa League level and international level also.

      And while signed to Bellator, the Geordie Shore star was challenged by Taylor, who was 7-5 before also swapping the cage for the ring.
      Now the American claimed he and Chalmers have verbally agreed to fight this year.

      AARON CHALMERS will make his professional boxing debut on April 2 in his hometown of Newcastle.The ex-Geordie Shore star recently confirmed his switch from MMA to professional boxing, signing for promotional company Boxxer and Sky Sports.

      He left the cage with a 5-2 record, last fighting in February 2020, and he told SunSport how he was almost ready to hang up his gloves afterwards.
      Now the hugely-popular 34-year-old reality TV star is officially swapping the cage for the ring in just a matter of weeks, debuting on the undercard of Savannah Marshall’s WBO middleweight world title defence against Femke Hermans.
      His opponent is yet to be confirmed.
      The show was previously scheduled for March and will see the Hartlepool-born Marshall take on the Belgian former world champion at Newcastle Arena.
      Welterweight Florian Marku and heavyweight Nathan Gorman, returning to the ring after over a year out, will also be in action.
      Chalmers recently revealed his hopes to fight Tyson Fury’s younger brother Tommy in the future as well as eyeing a clash with YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul.

      Aaron Chalmers reveals talks with Tommy Fury but still eyes life-changing fight with Jake Paul and Love Islanders

      AARON CHALMERS is now in position to set himself up with life-changing fights with stars from the YouTube and reality TV world. Chalmers, 34, has now confirmed his switch from MMA to professional boxing, signing for promotional company Boxxer and Sky Sports.

      It is the latest chapter in his prizefighting career, which started in 2017 with an MMA debut and will now carry on into the ring.
      But Chalmers almost began his boxing career with a mega-fight against fellow influencer Tommy Fury.
      He verbally agreed to face Fury, 22, while out of shape weighing 14st and having never boxed before.
      But after meeting with trainer Adam Booth in the following days and revealing his plan, the esteemed boxing brain put a stop to that.
      Chalmers told SunSport: “I met Adam a week later, and he said, ‘No chance’. It was not in my favour whatsoever.”
      What followed for Chalmers was 17 months under the watchful eye of Booth, who famously led David Haye to a heavyweight world title.

      He is set to make his pro boxing debut this April in the middleweight division as the latest high-profile name to sign with Sky Sports.
      Chalmers helped headline MMA shows in his home of Newcastle – as well as London and Dublin – with the backing of his Geordie Shore fanbase.
      And re-igniting talks with Fury, brother to heavyweight champion Tyson, could be another way of introducing boxing to a new set of eyeballs.
      Chalmers said: “I don’t know Tommy, but I know he probably gets as much stick as I do.

      Chalmers is surrounded by elite boxing talent like Michael Conlan, Liam Williams and Josh Kelly at Booth’s Surrey-based gym.
      He lives nearby, but that comes at the cost of spending only one weekend every fortnight back home with his partner Talia and their three kids.
      But with the likes of YouTuber Jake Paul, 25, bringing millions of pounds to any opponent he faces, it offers Chalmers the ultimate reward.
      Chalmers, who has 2million Instagram followers, said: “The sacrifices were made because I knew what could come, I’m looking at how boxing is going.
      “Obviously, you’ve got your Jake Pauls and all that, going down that route. If one of them fights come up, that’s my family sorted for life.
      “Not that I’m chasing that from the off, but I know with the right noise made, something like that could happen.
      “Then the sacrifices would be worth it, as I’d never have to work a day in my life again.”

      Paul’s coach BJ Flores is an old friend of Chalmers’ manager Booth, potentially making the fight easier to negotiate.
      Love Island winner Jack Fincham, 30, is another celeb with a boxing background, looking to get in the ring again.
      But despite the list of big-money bouts on offer to Chalmers, winning a prestigious domestic belt, like the famed English or British titles, could be just as rewarding.
      Chalmers said: “By all means, if Adam and I thought in two or three years time, I was ready, then 100 per cent I would never shy away from trying to earn a belt.
      “For someone who started boxing at 33 years old I would f***ing love to retire with a British or English title.
      “For me that is a big, big step, but we’ll see. Along with those fights, you’ve also got Jack Fincham, and other fighters in boxing we can look at.
      “I’m just excited, I’m so glad it’s been announced.”

      JAKE PAUL has been told he’s ‘looking at the wrong person’ as he tries to line up a bout with Tommy Fury.Geordie Shore star Aaron Chalmers has stepped in to demand Paul fight him instead of Tyson’s brother.

      The YouTube star is known to be frustrated at the time it’s taking to make a fight with Love Island’s Fury.
      Revealing he’s ‘p***ed off’ with slow negotiations, Paul also taunted Fury by claiming ‘no one gives a f*** about you’.
      Fellow reality star Chalmers has sensed his opportunity and told Paul he was ready to step face him in the ring.
      He said: “With all due respect, if you’re looking at fighting someone from the UK who does big numbers you’re looking at the wrong person.
      “Just look at the viewings every Bellator card I was on, sold out my home town arena twice. Let’s fight Jake Paul.”
      Chalmers is a former Bellator MMA competitor and would be making a crossover into the boxing ring if he does face Paul.

      The Joker, as he’s known, is 10 years older than the man he called out but shares a similar level of experience inside the ropes with seven fights to Paul’s four.
      In terms of punching power there is not much to choose between them with Paul scoring just one more KO than his potential rival.
      But Paul would have both youth and height on his side if the pair ever met as he stands three inches taller.
      It remains to be seen whether Paul vs Fury will happen – the Brit turned down two deals before Paul made a public offer of $1 million to face him.
      A war of words has since escalated between the two with Paul claiming time was running out to sign on.
      He said: “Tommy, it’s like Eminem said ‘you only got one shot, do not miss your chance to blow, this opportunity comes once in a lifetime’. Make the right choice.”
