Fabinho and his wife have two French bulldogs and the midfielder would like to have clarity on whether he can bring his two beloved pets into the country before completing a move.
A leaked Saudi Arabian document circulating on Twitter suggested that the breed is banned in the country due to being on a list of “dangerous and aggressive” dogs.
The list can be circumvented however if the dogs are to be used for hunting, serving as a guard dog or if they are seeing dogs for the blind.
Fabinho is understood to be willing to walk away from the deal if his dogs are not allowed to come with him to Saudi – with reports that the deal is on the brink of collapse due to the unusual issue.

This comes after Al-Ittihad offered Fabinho £425,000-a-week to join the club.
The midfielder’s current contract at Liverpool sees him earn £180k-a-week.
Al-Ittihad are keen to press on with a deal – and were in London this weekend to find an agreement between all parties.
If an allowance for the dogs is permitted, Fabinho would be the latest high-profile star to join Al-Ittihad.

The Saudi champions have so far added Ballon D’or winner Karim Benzema and Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante to their squad.
They also secured the signing of Celtic star Jota last month.
Fabinho would represent another coup for the club – with the midfielder having won the Champions League, league title, Carabao Cup and FA Cup during his time at Liverpool.
Fabinho would be joined by Jordan Henderson in swapping Liverpool for Saudi – with the Reds undergoing an unexpected midfield overhaul after receiving lucrative offers from the Saudi League. More

Boxing champion Tim Tszyu rushed to hospital after shock dog attack – putting world title fight in jeopardy

BOXING champ Tim Tszyu was rushed to hospital after a shock dog attack that plunges his world title fight into jeopardy. The 28-year-old underwent emergency surgery after his right arm was reportedly savaged by an animal at a barbecue on Sunday.
Tszyu was savaged by a dog in a shock attack
It has thrown his fight against Mexican Carlos Ocampo in just three weeks into serious doubt.
Boxing fans fear the Gold Coast clash may not go ahead after the son of legendary boxer Kostya Tszyu was attacked.
However, his camp has insisted he will be fit enough to take on his opponent despite his wounds from the dog bite.
Tsyzu’s manager, Glen Jennings, said in a statement: “The wound was superficial. The post-surgical report is all good.
“There is no doubt that Tim will be ready and 100 per cent healthy and focused to take on Carlos Ocampo on June 18.”
No Limit Boxing CEO George Rose is also betting that the battle on June 18 will still go ahead.
He said in a statement: “Like everyone, I was shocked and worried when I first heard the news.
“It’s certainly not the ideal preparation anytime a fighter ends up in hospital a few weeks out from world title fight but the best news right now is that Tim is doing ok.

“He has the best and most experienced team around him in world boxing.
“They have reassured me he’ll be more than ready on June 18 to take on Ocampo. If they’re confident, I’m confident.”
“There is no doubt that Tim will be ready and 100 per cent healthy and focused to take on Carlos Ocampo on June 18.”
It was set to be Tszyu’s last fight before his Las Vegas showdown with undisputed super welterweight king Jermell Charlo, who has delayed it twice due to an injured hand.
Taking on Ocampo marks Kostya’s first clash with a Mexican fighter and he is keen to recreate his famous father’s streak of success.
He said in a previous interview: “The Tszyu legacy, we’re 5-0 against the Mexicans.
“For me growing up and being a lover of this sport, watching the rivalries – Erik Morales, Barrera, the big Mexican fights like that – I’ve always wanted to test myself.
“So I’m quite honoured to be able to fight against a Mexican. It’s going to be a tough task so hopefully my hands are ready.”
Kostya, who has held the world title since March, described his opponent as the “perfect test” for him. More

Mikel Arteta brings dog called ‘Win’ to Arsenal training to boost morale with pooch attending Ramsdale contract signing

MIKEL ARTETA is no stranger to utilising strange methods to give Arsenal the edge over their opponents. From blaring “You’ll Never Walk Alone” from speakers before a clash at Anfield to get his stars used to the atmosphere, to playing dodgeball in training, the ideas have kept flowing.

And Arteta’s latest brain child has seen him bring in man’s best friend.
The eccentric Spaniard has transferred in a dog named “Win” in a bid to lift morale.
The Times revealed the chocolate Labrador was brought in following research which shows petting a dog can be calming and reduce stress levels.
The canine has been a regular at London Colney since last month and comes into training a few times a week and roams the grounds.

Win was even in attendance as Aaron Ramsdale signed a new long-term contract until 2027, with Arteta walking her in during the signing.
Her owner is a member of the Arsenal staff who she lives with.
And Win is not the only pet who can be seen at the Gunners training ground, with resident cat Bob – adopted after his local owner died – now having some company.
The move is said to have proven popular with players.

Reacting to the revelation, one Arsenal fan joked: “He’s got that DOG in him.”
A second said: “A club pet is such a sweet idea. As years go on, the pet could become iconic like a super fan.”
“Good signing. Something a bit different to what we’ve got up front. Stick him on, send the ball long and they’ll chase the ball all day,” typed a third.
A fourth asked: “Can he play in Saliba’s position?”
Another added: “My manager and dog whisper all in one!👍”
However, on the pitch Arsenal have failed to live up to Win’s name in five of their last seven games.
Draws against Liverpool, West Ham and Southampton were followed by a 4-1 defeat against Manchester City and a 3-0 thrashing against Brighton, which sandwiched victories over Chelsea and Newcastle.
This poor form has seen them give up an eight-point advantage over Man City in the title run-in, with Pep Guardiola’s side now on course to wrap up the league this weekend. More

I’m a former Prem star but lost millions in divorce.. I’ve tried pro golf, dog breeding and owning a pub to claw it back

A PREMIER LEAGUE football hardman has told of battling back from bankruptcy through a cocktail of golf, breeding dogs and serving behind the bar.The former Liverpool defender lost his top-flight fortune after splitting from his wife.

But West Ham legend Julian Dicks – known for his tough tackling, frequent red cards and fierce spot-kicks – has insisted he is on the up again after a string of post-retirement setbacks.
And his modern-day fans include Lionesses all-time top scorer Ellen White, a key part of the England team which won the European Championship last summer.
Dicks notched four England Under-21 caps in a career which began at Birmingham City, took him to West Ham and then a £3million transfer to Graeme Souness’s Liverpool in 1993 – before a return to the Hammers a year later.
Yet despite his multi-million-pound earnings in the early years of the lucrative new Premier League, financial strife struck after Dicks’ final match for West Ham against Arsenal in February 1999.

The player nicknamed “The Terminator” married wife Kay in 1998, the same year they had twin daughters Jessica and Katie – and the couple ran a dog kennels business after winning planning permission for their £500,000 Essex country home.
Yet the pair split in 2001, saying at the time 12-year-old Jessica would live with him while Katie stayed with their mother – and Dicks paid a hefty price in the divorce settlement.
He recalled: “When I quit West Ham I had enough money in the bank to never work again.
“Then, in 2001, I got divorced and my wife took it all. We’d set up professional kennels and were looking after other people’s dogs.

“That was great because I love animals, especially English Bull Terriers. Some people find them threatening but it depends on how you bring them up.
“I had 13 of them at one time and two young girls and there was never any problem.”
Keen golfer Dicks was encouraged to take up the game professionally, including by a surgeon treating him for the knee injury that ended his football career.
Dicks trained with Denis Pugh, a golfing pro at his local club who had previously coached Ryder Cup winner Colin Montgomerie.
But his new career was short-lived, with Dicks admitting: “There’s only so many times you can pay £500 to play in a competition and not get anything back.”
He then went into the pub trade, buying the Shepherd and Dog in Langham, near Colchester, with new partner Andrea Milton in 2002.
In his landlord days, Dicks told: “We have loads of football supporters come in just to say hello to me – not just West Ham fans but Arsenal and Tottenham fans too.
“They used to boo me from the terraces but now we have a laugh.
“Mostly they give me stick about the tackles I used to make.
“When it’s closing time there’s no need for me to give it The Terminator treatment, because people know they’ve got to drink up.
“I don’t think I’ve ever lost my temper in the pub, although there was one time recently when a couple of kids had too much to drink.
“That was it. I just chucked them out. Most punters know that closing time’s closing time. They know there’s not going to be a lock-in, because I just want to go home and get to bed.
“I always give 110 per cent in whatever I do, it doesn’t matter if it’s playing football, playing golf or running my pub.”
Julian Dicks revealed all about his love of animals, especially dogsCredit: News Group Newspapers Ltd
But he put the pub up for sale in 2005 and went back into football, coaching non-league clubs such as Wivenhoe Town and Grays Athletic – both in Essex – before a stint as ex-West Ham team-mate Slaven Bilic’s assistant at Championship side Watford last year.
He also played a cameo role in 2014 comedy movie The Hooligan Factory, which also featured actors Danny Dyer and Craig Fairbrass and Towie personality Chloe Sims.
During his football career the Bristol-born defender was tipped for a full England call-up by then-manager Terry Venables in 1995, but his hopes were hampered by a series of disciplinary problems.
And Dicks had no luck with Venables’ successor Glenn Hoddle either – though assistant manager John Gorman, bumping into him on holiday, told skinhead Dicks he might have a better chance if he grew his hair longer.
But Dicks insisted in 1997: “I don’t want to play for England. It doesn’t interest me anymore. If they rang me up, I wouldn’t play.”
He has, however, tipped current Hammers captain Declan Rice to wear the Three Lions armband in future.
Dicks was sent off nine times in his career, including one for a foul on Arsenal and England striker Ian Wright at Highbury in September 1995.
And his hot-headed nature was not just confined to the football field.
He has confessed: “Golf’s meant to be a gentleman’s sport but I tended to lose my rag when I fluffed a shot.

“I ended up smashing loads of my clubs.
“That’s me though – I like to do things properly and I can get frustrated if things aren’t working out.” More

I was at centre of one of F1’s most controversial moments ever but then my team sacked me and treated me like a dog

CRASHGATE remains one of Formula One’s most controversial moments. Nelson Piquet Jr was told to crash his Renault into the barriers at the 2008 Singapore Grand Prix, a move which ultimately helped team-mate Fernando Alonso win the race.

As well as deciding the race winner, it also proved pivotal in who won the title.
Lewis Hamilton was among those who inadvertently benefited from the crash and he would go on to win the first of his seven F1 crowns by a single point, pipping Brazilian Felipe Massa.
But with Massa now considering a legal challenge after comments made by ex-F1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone, which could see Hamilton stripped of his title, the driver at the centre of the ordeal has opened up on his experience.
Piquet Jr, son of the disgraced Nelson Piquet Sr, has revealed how Renault cast him aside when the scandal was revealed and treated him “like a dog”.
    READ MORE IN F1
Speaking to On the Tracks Podcast, he said: “We stayed for 2009 and then the story came out about what had happened.
“They ended my contract, something they weren’t supposed to do. I was going to race all year and all of a sudden I was told, ‘Now, it’s [Romain] Grosjean that’s going to take your place.’
“And I told them, ‘You can’t do this to me.’
“They treated me like a dog. And that’s when I told them, ‘Since they’re treating me like I’m rubbish, I think we’re going to have to clear things up.’

“That’s when everyone got to know what had happened, which to me was horrible. It was very traumatizing. It still is today.
“A lot of people don’t understand and a lot of people judge without understanding history.”
They treated me like a dogNelson Piquet Jr
But Piquet has insisted he only followed the order to crash due to having his career threatened by Renault team principal Flavio Briatore and having a lack of help around him at the time.
He added: “The race came to Singapore and they put me psychologically up against the wall, I had no escape.
“A lot of people still ask me, ‘Would you do it again?’ My answer is always, ‘No, obviously not.’
“But at that age and under so much pressure… There was no one with me, except that grotesque Briatore, who was always bullying and was always complaining, pressuring me and warning me: ‘This is your last chance’.”
For their part in crashgate, Piquet Jr. and Briatore were handed lifetime bans from the sport.
He continued: “What I would not do again was to enter Formula 1 alone.
“The psychological state of a driver when he enters Formula 1 becomes very sensitive. You have to feel very confident.
“When you lose that confidence it becomes something very difficult to recover. Someone who wants the good of the pilot.
