The new angle appeared to be at a bizarre slant

A dramatic first half saw both teams hit the net, with Liverpool scoring first through Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Timothy Castagne ensured Fulham went in level at half-time with a 47th minute equaliser.

But the main talking point for fans was the bizarre new camera angle.

The game was played out on TV with a strange new look.

Sky’s camera angle appeared to be more slanted than usual.

It gave the pitch an interesting perspective, making some players appear larger than others.

And some fans took to Twitter declaring they were not happy with the change.

One said: “What’s with this camera angle at Craven Cottage?

“Are Sky filming this from a nearby flat?”

Another declared: “What is this Fulham Liverpool camera angle? It feels weird.”

One noted: “OK is the TV camera just at the weirdest angle for the Liverpool match or am I overreacting?”

Another added: “I know Craven Cottage ain’t the best for it, but what on EARTH is this camera angle?”

The change did not affect action on the pitch though, with both sides giving it their all in the second half.

But it was Liverpool who fired in the next goal, with Ryan Gravenberch smashing home from outside the box in the 53rd minute.

Diogo Jota then put the game to bed in the 72nd minute, with the result sending Liverpool joint-top of the table with Arsenal – albeit second on goal difference.
