FANS have been left stunned after Jamie Carragher made a savage jibe at his predicted Champions League winners.

The Liverpool legend was on punditry duty alongside for covering the Champions League mid-week fixtures.

It was a thrilling night which saw both Arsenal and Manchester City in action.

Arsenal were held to a 2-2 draw against Bayern Munich, while Man City also drew their match versus Real Madrid.

Carragher, 46, was at his usual post on CBS Sports and ran through his predictions from the quarter-finals all the way to the eventual winner.

The retired defender backed Bayern to get past Arsenal, City to beat Madrid as well as Atletico Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain to get to the semi-finals.

There he expects Man City and PSG to reach the final with the Premier League side to then win the whole competition.

However, it was his jibe at the Citizens that had viewers stunned.

He said: “And the winner is, the team with 115 charges, Manchester City.”
