Man Utd star Alejandro Garnacho shakes his head after being subbed by Ten Hag and stats show he has a point

ALEJANDRO Garnacho was left miffed after he was subbed off in the FA Cup semi-final.

With the game won and Manchester United coasting 3-0, Erik Ten Hag withdrew the Argentinian winger.

But 19-year-old starlet was less than pleased with the decision.

TV cameras caught Garnacho shaking his head as he trudged off the pitch.

In the past month, he was subbed off against Chelsea, Liverpool, and Bournemouth.

In the latter, Garnacho expressed his frustration by liking social media posts that were critical of his withdrawal against the Cherries.

He has since unliked the posts, while manager Ten Hag has said the pair had moved on from the incident.

“Alejandro is a young player, he has to learn a lot,” said Ten Hag. “He apologised for it and after that we move on.”

However, stats show that Garnacho might have a point with being disgruntled with the Dutch tactician’s decisions.

When the wideman was removed against Chelsea, the Red Devils ended up losing 4-3 in injury time.

Then Liverpool scored a late equaliser, after Garnacho was removed from the action.

But, even more incredible, is what happened at Wembley on Sunday.

With United all but through, he was taken off in the 66th minute.

Astonishingly, Coventry City fought back – scoring three goals to take the game into extra-time.

United scraped through 4-2 on penalties, but had to do it without the talented Garnacho on the pitch.

Seemingly, taking Garnacho off led to another Manchester United implosion.
