WOLVES manager Julen Lopetegui could leave the club despite avoiding relegation this season, according to reports.

The Spaniard has been a big success at Molineux, guiding Wolves away from the drop zone after a disastrous opening to the season.

Lopetegui, 56, has won 31 points from 22 Premier League games in charge, with Wolves recording just ten points from 15 matches before he took over.

But now his future is in doubt due to broken promises over recruitment, according to journalist Guillem Balague.

He claims Lopetegui could walk over concerns the club will not be able to bring in the transfer targets he wants.

However the former Real Madrid boss is still under contract and is poised for talks with the club over their plans for the summer.

But Wolves face budget limitations due to financial fair play concerns, with the club likely having to sell if they are to bring in new faces.

Key players could leave this season with Ruben Neves tipped to go after years of transfer speculation.
