West Ham fans rage at ‘absolute joke’ Europa Conference League fanzone that ‘looks like a Glastonbury MUD PIT’

WEST HAM’s Europa Conference League final high has been somewhat dampened by the fan village for the match.

Thousands of Hammers supporters from across the globe have descended on Prague for tonight’s cup final – the club’s first in 47 years.

But many of them have been left disappointed by the fan zone for the match – which is far from impressive.

Footage of the fan zone – which was wet and sandy – started doing the rounds on social media early on Wednesday morning.

Clips also showed the zone only had a handful of food and drink stalls and not that many seating areas.

And to say Irons supporters were irate would be an understatement.

One tweeted: “This has to be a joke!

“Paid 1k to come out here, have to pay 2k for a ticket due to UEFA shit allocation and decisions.

“Then after all my efforts of coming here, they can’t put together a half-decent place for us 30,000 ticketless fans.

“Absolute joke nothing funny about this!”

Another said: “Shambles.”

And another said: “They’ve had a stinker.”

One remarked: “Looks like Glastonbury.”

Another chimed in: “This is gonna be an absolute mud pit come 8.00.”

West Ham booked their spot in tonight’s final with a 3-1 aggregate win over Dutch side AZ Alkmaar in their semi-final tie last month.

And manager David Moyes is relishing tonight’s match, which he never envisioned his troops taking part in at the start of the season.

The Scot said: “If you’d have told anybody before I came in that we would finish sixth and seventh in the Premier League.

“[And] get to the semi-final of a European competition [the 2021-22 Europa League].

“And then the year after get to the final, they would have said, ‘No, that’s not true’.

“There’s a lot of really good things going on and we have given lots of the West Ham supporters and the club lots of really good times.

“Long may it continue.
