Tottenham ‘keeping tabs on Watford whiz Adrian Blake, 17, ahead of free transfer but face competition from rivals’

TOTTENHAM reportedly have a keen eye on Watford youngster Adrian Blake, but could have to fight off stiff competition to sign him.

Blake, aged 17, has featured twice for the Hornet’s first team this season and has reportedly attracted interest from a whole host of Premier League clubs.

Adrian Blake has played twice in the FA Youth Cup this season scoring once and registering two assists

The London born winger has been with Watford in their academy since he was seven years old.

According to the Mail Online, Tottenham are among the top-flight sides vying for his signature.

The Lilywhites will be looking to improve their squad in the summer as they try and catch up with runaway North London rivals Arsenal.

Antonio Conte has had a mixed season in charge of Spurs and could require big reinforcements in the summer with rumours still swirling about the future of Harry Kane.

Blake made his debut for Watford earlier this season in the League Cup where he featured for 17 minutes against MK Dons in a 2-0 defeat.

He is yet to make his professional league debut, but is a highly rated prospect at the London club.

The winger is out of contract at Vicarage Road in the summer and so could be tempted by a move to the Premier League with Spurs.

Tottenham will also be looking elsewhere in the hopes of backing Conte’s side in the summer.
