According to the Telegraph, he asked his agents to send Red Devils chiefs a defiant message.
He texted them: “Tell them I’ll fix this.”
Casemiro’s £70million move to the Theatre of Dreams was confirmed just six days later.

But his mind had already been made up.
After initially starting games on the bench as he settled in at Man United, Casemiro unsurprisingly earned a place in the starting XI for the 2-1 victory over Everton on October 9.
He has subsequently began the Red Devils’ last 10 Prem games, losing only once as a starter.
The defensive minded midfielder has also bagged goals against Chelsea and Bournemouth.
