Mario Balotelli rules out PSG transfer after playing for rivals then instantly changes his mind

MARIO BALOTELLI has ruled out a move to Paris Saint-Germain after playing for Ligue 1 rivals Marseille and Nice.

But the Italian ace was quick to backtrack on himself and said if he was offered €10million (£8.6million) he would consider moving to the French capital.

Ballotelli, 33, has returned to Turkish Super Lig side Adana Demirspor after his season-long spell at the club in 2021-2022.

He scored 19 goals in 33 games for the then-newly promoted side before joining Swiss Super League club Sion.

But a disastrous season at the club meant the Italian star returned to Turkey.

When asked if the striker would move to French giants PSG he quickly declined the offer in fear of betraying his former teams Marseille and Nice.

He told TVPlay: “What if PSG call me? No chance. No way — as I used to play for Marseille and Nice so… no way.”

However, Balotelli instantly changed his mind and suggested if a big enough price tag was offered he would make the move.

He even went as far as to suggest that for the right price, he would play for his brother Enock Barwuah’s club – amateur Italian side Rovato Calcio.

He added: “What if they come with €10m salary proposal?

“Of course. In that case I’d accept… for €10m I’d even join my brother’s team and go play there!”

Balotelli enjoyed a three-year spell at Nice from 2016-2019 where he made 76 appearances and scored 43 goals.

Then swiftly after his exit he moved across the French Riveria to rivals Marseille for the season.

It was a short but successful spell having scored eight goals in 15 appearances.
