ROMA players were forced to take a team photo after LOSING to Serie A leaders Napoli by proud boss Jose Mourinho.

The stars were made to take the snap by the Special One, who will be hoping that it motivates his players in the next game.

Roma suffered the defeat after Giovanni Simeone’s 86th-minute strike gave the Naples outfit a 2-1 win.

It is normal to see team photos from dressing rooms after they have won, but rarely after a defeat.

Mourinho uploaded the picture to his Instagram page for his 3.1million followers.

It was captioned: “What a TEAM what a SPIRIT what a PERFORMANCE.

Many of the stars could be seen with miserable looks on their faces after suffering the loss.

But fans were still pleased with their performance, as one commented: “Come on Rome today more than ever. The important thing is to put your soul in.

“When you lose yourself like this, there is nothing to blame anyone 💪.”

The capital club had thought they had earned a point after Stephan El Shaarawy netted in the 75th minute to cancel out Victor Osimhen’s stunning opener.

The loss leaves Roma in 6th place in Serie A but only one point off Lazio in third and three points behind second-place Inter Milan.

Roma face Cremonese in the Coppa Italia quarter-finals on Wednesday.
