Dele Alli ‘could be sent back to Everton early as Besiktas consider ripping up loan contract’ after horror season

DELE ALLI faces being sent back to Everton from Besiktas unless his performances improve, reports say.

The former England international moved to Turkey on a 12-month deal in the summer but has struggled for form.

He has made 11 appearances, with only two goals, and was even booed when being subbed off after 29 minutes.

But according to Turkish outlet Sabah, Besiktas are already considering terminating Alli’s contract and sending him back to Everton.

It is claimed the playmaker has until the end of the month to improve his performances or he will return to England.

Alli has not featured in Besiktas’ last four league games and was even criticised sporting director Ceyhun Kazanci for his poor performances.

Kazanci told TRT Sport: “No one can answer whether Dele Alli can do it right now.

“He is working very hard. He is a player who reached €100million (£87m) three years ago. He had a fall.

“Dele Alli is working intensively. We had intense talks with him before we signed him.

“Senol [Gunes] is famous for returning many players whose careers have been on the decline.

“We hope that he will be better in the second half of the season.”

Alli was signed by Frank Lampard at Everton, which ended the midfielder’s seven years at Tottenham.

But Lampard’s future is also under scrutiny, with the Toffees now in the relegation zone and without a win in seven.
