In 251 appearances he scored 35 goals, assisted 25 and won five major trophies including the Champions League, the FA Cup and the Premier League.

Although he retired from professional football in 2020, Ramires returned to Stamford Bridge last week to play for Chelsea Legends in a match against Bayern Munich Legends.

And he reunited with some former team-mates, including Salomon Kalou, John Obi Mikel and Florent Malouda.

The four ex-Blues posed for a picture together, which was shared on Kalou’s Instagram.

The Brazilian midfielder is now sporting a beard – something never seen during his time at Chelsea.

Fans loved his new style, with one person tweeting: “Ramires looks good!! I wasn’t ready!”

Another added: “I just love this Ramires transformation!”
