Anthony Joshua and Jarrell Miller forced apart after squaring up to each other in heated clash ahead of Saudi fight card

ANTHONY JOSHUA and Jarrell Miller were forced apart following a heated clash ahead of this Saturday’s stacked Saudi card.

Miller, 35, sneaked up on Joshua, 34, and called him a “p***y” while the Brit was chatting to SunSport yesterday.

The pair had been due to fight at Madison Square Garden in 2019 before Miller failed a series of drugs tests and was slapped with a ban.

“Big Baby” is now on the comeback trail and faces Joshua’s compatriot Daniel Dubois in Saudi Arabia this weekend.

While Joshua was answering questions ahead of his own bout with Otto Wallin this weekend, Miller said: “I knew I smelled p***y.”

Former champ AJ stayed cool in the moment, calmly telling SunSport of the man that was supposed to be his first US opponent: “I have to just let him know he is not even in my sights. He is beneath me.

“In reality, I was thinking, ‘Why do I even address that clown? He is beneath me’.

“I have bigger and better things to focus on. He is a clown.

“I am fully focused on Otto Wallin, after this week I will tell you everything but right now Wallin is the only focus.”

After leaving the interview table, Joshua engaged in a heated conversation with Big Baby.

In the exchange Joshua pointed out: “Look at my record, who have I ducked?”

Miller then made reference to his replacement Andy Ruiz Jr “smoking” Joshua at MSG in 2019.

He then said he’d “smoke” Andy and then added to Joshua: “I want you.”

Joshua later hit back by saying: “I’m on a different level to you.

“Me and you are not on the same level, and where you are in your career, I don’t need to fight you.”

It was then pointed out to Miller “you had your opportunity” as the duo were separated by their various entourages.

Joshua, whose fight with Wallin headlines this weekend’s card in Riyadh, then said: “I’m hosting you, welcome to my show. Welcome to my show, little b****.

“You’re working for me on Saturday night! Humble yourself.

“I’m still your landlord, don’t forget that.”

After returning from his four-year lay-off last year Miller defeated Ariel Esteban Bracamonte and Derek Cardenas in low-key shows.

Last time out he beat Lucas Browne in Dubai.

His bout with Dubois will mark the 26-year-old’s return to action after losing to champion Oleksandr Usyk in August.
