Tuchel vs Conte tale of the tape: How Chelsea and Tottenham bosses compare as Jake Paul makes fight prediction

JAKE PAUL has backed Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel to beat Tottenham gaffer Antonio Conte in a boxing match following their heated exchanges on Sunday.

The pair twice squared up to each other at Stamford Bridge as Spurs held their rivals to a 2-2 draw in a fiery London derby.

They first went head-to-head after Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg controversially equalised to make it 1-1 in the 68th minute.

Conte, 53, appeared to head straight to Tuchel, 48, leading the German to bark in the Italian’s face with the duo having to be separated.

Tuchel then celebrated wildly after Reece James put Chelsea 2-1 up as he sprinted past Conte down the touchline, with his counterpart later taking to social media to state he should have tripped him over.

Harry Kane then stole a point as he headed home off James in the 96th minute, but there was to be more drama following the full-time whistle.

Both managers were SENT OFF at the end of the game after Tuchel refused to let go of Conte during a handshake at full-time.

Tuchel declared that he clashed with the ex-Blues boss because he refused to look him in the eyes.

And YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul took to social media to say that he would back Tuchel to win should he ever come to blows with Conte due to the latter’s “fear”.

He tweeted: “Fear is clear when you don’t look at your opponent in their eyes. Tuchel would KO Conte and I would pay money to see it.”

Should the unthinkable happen and Tuchel and Conte lace up gloves for a dust-up, it would be the former that has youth and height on his side.

Not only is Tuchel five years younger, but he also stands much taller at 6ft 3in compared to Conte’s 5ft 9in stature.

But Conte boasts greater experience than his rival having managed nine clubs compared to Tuchel’s four.

Though the former Borussia Dortmund manager has won more trophies, as well as being sacked less and resigning three times fewer.

Despite claiming more silverware, it is Conte that has the better Premier League win percentage, and he has also had more games in the Chelsea dugout over Tuchel.

In addition to that, Conte has won more games in charge of Chelsea (69) than Tuchel (58), but was on the losing side (20) more than his counterpart (13).

Conte is also paid more than double Tuchel’s salary having agreed a £15million-a-year contract when he made the move to Spurs last year.
