MANCHESTER UNITED fans ordered Ralf Rangnick to send Harry Maguire ‘back to Hull’ after his shocking defending saw Atletico Madrid score just EIGHT minutes into their 1-1 Champions League draw.

Joao Felix fired the hosts ahead early on in the Champions League last 16, first leg tie at the Wanda Metropolitano, before super-sub Anthony Elaga rescued a draw for the visitors.

Renan Lodi picked up the ball on the left wing before swinging a sublime cross into United’s box.

Felix then darted off Raphael Varane before leaping above Maguire to head the ball past David De Gea.

It was a brilliant goal from the £113million Portugal star, especially considering he is just 5ft9in while Maguire stands at over 6f3in.

And Red Devils fans were far from happy as they delivered a scathing assessment on their captain’s efforts.

One demanded: “Please send Harry Maguire back to Hull City.”

Another said: “Maguire made little Joao Felix look like prime Peter Crouch.”
