And this result came off the back of a disappointing 2-0 defeat by Champions of England Manchester City on the opening weekend.

However, spirits have been lifted since then as £30.5 million signing Gianluca Scamacca inspired David Moyes’ side to a midweek 3-1 in their Europa Conference League playoff.

But Brighton are yet to lose a game this season which includes embarrassing Manchester United at Old Trafford.

But the Hammers boss is expected to bring the likes of Aaron Cresswell, Kurt Zouma, Lukasz Fabianski, Declan Rice and Michail Antonio all back into the fold.

Defensive veteran Angelo Ogbonna will also be pushing for a start having got 65 minutes under his belt after being side-lined since last season.

Elsewhere, Brighton manager Graham Potter will only have to continue without the services of Jakub Moder.

However, Potter could have a selection headache on whether he hands summer signing Pervis Estupinan his full debut at wing-back against West Ham.
