    “First and foremost, congratulations to Huddersfield. They’ve been excellent all season, they finished third.

    “Secondly, I couldn’t be more proud of my team. We were better tonight. We were the best side tonight.

    “We missed chances in the first half. We should’ve been ahead.

    “There was a bit of sloppiness, we didn’t clear it and then they scored from a set play which they do regularly.

    “But we’ve been outstanding tonight. So so proud.

    “So proud of the team. So proud on how they’ve gone about their work.

    “We’ve had to contend with absolutely everything – if you look at our bench we’ve not got the pace and power we had. We’ve got eight missing tonight but look I’m so proud of the group.”

    “Didn’t play the minutes that I wanted to play in the game but amazing experience.

    “Listen, when you have a striker like [Rhodes], 200 goals and I’m struggling to score one!

    “But it’s amazing!”
