Both clubs kicked off their Premier League campaign with a win last week as Tottenham put four goals past Southampton and Chelsea scraped past Everton with a 1-0 victory.

But, despite being just one game into the season, O’Hara believes that Spurs have what it takes to earn a convincing win over Thomas Tuchel’s side.

When speaking on TalkSPORT, he said: “I think now is the moment for Spurs to turn the tide and become the biggest club in London again.

“We’ve got the best stadium. One of the best managers. Best training facilities. Best striker in the world. Best left winger.

“So I think now is the time we make our mark.

“I know there’s a lot of Spurs fans out there who know this is a big moment for us and I think this is a good time to play Chelsea because they’re still a little bit on the hangover of last season.

“They weren’t great against Everton.

“I think we’re going to go there and absolutely destroy them.”

Tottenham boss Antonio Conte has been busy strengthening his squad over the summer.

Spurs have already signed six new players including former Everton forward Richarlison, who made a £60million move from Merseyside last month.

The Brazil international could make his first competitive start for Tottenham on Sunday after serving a one-game ban for throwing a flare into the crowd at Goodison Park last season.

Meanwhile, Chelsea new boys Raheem Sterling, Kalidou Koulibaly and Marc Cucurella are also expected to be named on the teamsheet ahead of the highly-anticipated clash.
