Fans all spot the same ‘bizarre’ thing in Man Utd star Alex Telles’ Brazil World Cup call-up video

FOOTBALL fans mocked Alex Telles after he shared a video reacting to his World Cup call-up by Brazil.

Several of his international team-mates also filmed the moment they learned of their call-up to the World Cup, including Neymar and Richarlison.

Telles responded to the news by breaking down in tears as he sat on a sofa next to his wife Priscila Minuzzo, who offered support.

The Manchester United star, who is on loan at Sevilla, appeared to wipe away tears before hugging his partner.

But fans noticed something else rather strange about the video – the presence of a Christmas tree.

Many felt it was weird for Telles to have his tree up so early since Christmas is weeks away.

One fan wrote: “Telles needs to be thrown off the team for having his Christmas tree up already.”

Another added: “[The] most shocking thing about the Brazil World Cup squad announcement is that Alex Telles already has his Christmas tree up.”

A third said: “Why does Telles have his Christmas tree up 😭.”

Another remarked: “Nothing against Alex Telles but who the f**k has a Christmas tree up on November 7th?! 🙄🥴.”

Telles’ United team-mate Antony also filmed his reaction to being called up and jumped for joy alongside family members.

His accompanying caption read: “For you!!! Thank you, God!!

“Thank you everyone… friends, family, mom, dad, brothers!! Love you!!! Too much emotion!!”

Bruno Guimaraes and his loved ones – including his newborn son – also sat on the sofa as they waited for the Newcastle star’s name to be read out.

And they jumped to their feet as the midfielder’s selection for the World Cup was confirmed.

Guimaraes’ celebration, however, was somewhat mooted as he was holding his little bundle of joy.
