‘World’s sexiest athlete’ Alica Schmidt fears she will ‘COLLAPSE’ if she pushes herself too hard in training


ALICA SCHMIDT has revealed that she will build slowly into the new athletics season so that she won’t COLLAPSE.

The 23-year-old is looking forward to the upcoming campaign by starting her training schedule.

She has since been enjoying some down time in Thailand

Dubbed the “world’s sexiest athlete”, she is enjoying some time off after a gruelling European Athletic Championships last month.

She rubbed shoulders with Anthony Joshua and Naomi Campbell at Milan Fashion Week.

But she is about to get back on track and spoke to her incredible 3.2 million followers on Instagram about the demands on her body.

Schmidt said: “Things will change a bit in my training.

“I’ll start slow and relaxed so that I can get through the training well.

“From 0 to 100, I can’t do that. That would just be too much.

“I would collapse after a day or two of training because it would just be too much.

“It will really start again in two weeks.”

At the European Championships in August, Schmidt reached the semi-finals in her first individual event at an international.

Her team also finished fifth in the final of the 400m relay at the Munich Olympic Stadium.

The running sensation recently set fans hearts racing with shots of her relaxing in an ocean while on holiday in Thailand.
