The Baggies are deep in trouble at the bottom of the Premier League.

And another nail was put in the coffin on Tuesday when they fell to a 2-1 defeat by bottom side Sheffield United.

Albion did appear to have a bit of a bounce when Sam Allardyce was announced as Slaven Bilic’s replacement.

But they have lost three of their last four Premier League games, and are now ten points from safety.

Yokuslu, 26, joined from Celta Vigo on loan until the end of the season, and is predominantly a defensive midfielder.

He could help add that bit of protection so obviously needed to a back line that has conceded 11 in this past four matches.

Another player who could also features against Jose Mourinho’s Spurs is Ainsley Maitland-Niles.

The versatile player signed on loan for the rest of the season from Arsenal.

It is believed he told Arsenal he wanted to leave in the search for first-team action.

And the 23-year-old ideally wants to play in midfield.

But Allardyce may need him to muck in the defence, such have their problems of late been.
