Man Utd trio Donny van de Beek, Jesse Lingard and Dean Henderson wanted in triple January transfer swoop by Newcastle

NEWCASTLE reportedly want to sign three out of favour Manchester United stars in January.

Donny van de Beek, Jesse Lingard and Dean Henderson have all seen limited game time this season.

And according to the Daily Mail, Henderson wants to leave United to play first-team football if he can’t reclaim the No1 spot back off David de Gea.

Henderson’s desire to play first-team football has alerted Newcastle, who have just appointed new boss Eddie Howe – and have a real relegation fight on their hands.

The Englishmen is desperate to prove himself ahead of next year’s 2022 Qatar winter World Cup, and he knows he needs to play to make it on the plane.

Jordan Pickford, Aaron Ramsdale and Sam Johnstone are all playing regularly for their clubs.

Van De Beek is another United star Newcastle are looking at.

The Dutchman has spent over a full season at the Red Devils, but has failed to stamp down a first-team spot.

His game time this term has been limited too, with pundits and fans calling for Van De Beek to be given a fair shot considering United’s problems in midfield.

And he got the biggest cheer of the afternoon in the 2-0 derby defeat to Manchester City when fans saw he was coming on.

Van De Beek has reportedly switched agents and will actively seek a move away from Old Trafford in January with Newcastle very interested.

Lingard, like Henderson, is hoping to fight his way back into England contention for next year’s World Cup and his chances of doing that at United look unlikely.

The 28-year-old lost his spot in Gareth Southgate’s Three Lions squad for November’s international fixtures.

Southgate cited Lingard’s lack of game time as a reason for his dropping.

And Newcastle are in the running to sign the midfielder, but they’ll face stiff competition from West Ham.

Lingard spent the second half of last season at the Hammers and scored nine goals.

The midfielder also got five assists and helped West Ham finish sixth.

Lingard’s contract at United expires next summer too, so a decision on his future will have to be made in January.
