Liverpool vs Arsenal LIVE: Minamino adds FOURTH as Klopp’s Reds run riot against Gunners – stream, score, TV info

ARSENAL travel to Liverpool in nothing short of a massive Premier League clash this evening.

The Gunners head into the tie in stunning form, unbeaten in their last eight games. However they have failed to win at Anfield in the league since 2012.

It was nine years ago in September 2012, when Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal defeated Liverpool 2-0 with goals from Lukas Podolski and Santi Cazorla…and current manager Mikel Arteta started in midfield.

  • LIVERPOOL FLATTEN ARSENAL AT ANFIELD

The visitors’ long wait for a league victory at Anfield goes on after Liverpool proved far too strong.

It could have been more than four but for the heroics of Aaron Ramsdale in the Arsenal net.

The Gunners have been on a good run of late but they came up against a premium quality Liverpool tonight.

Victory sends the hosts up to second, four points behind the leaders Chelsea.

  • PEEEEEEEEEEEP!

    THAT’S FULL TIME!

    90. Three minutes of stoppage time – can Liverpool get a fifth?

  • LIVERPOOL 4-0 ARSENAL

    88. Frustration on show from Saka there as he brings down the young Tsimikas deep inside Liverpool territory.

  • LIVERPOOL 4-0 ARSENAL

    86. You wouldn’t bet against a fifth tonight but it feels as if Liverpool are winding the clock down now. Alisson taking his time over a goalkick before tapping it out to the waiting Trent.

  • LIVERPOOL 4-0 ARSENAL

    84. Anfield break out the ‘Olés’ as the home fans cheer their team’s passes

  • LIVERPOOL 4-0 ARSENAL

    83. Substitute time for Liverpool and it’s a debut for youngster Tyler Morten. Boss Jurgen Klopp gives the 19-year-old a big bear hug just before he replaces Thiago. A special night for the young man.

  • LIVERPOOL 4-0 ARSENAL

    82. Saka looks to get beyond the last man but his run is too early and he’s flagged for offside.

  • LIVERPOOL 4-0 ARSENAL

    80. Arsenal finally enjoy a spell in Liverpool’s half but they’re nowhere near scoring their first goal here at Anfield tonight. Liverpool soon clear their lines.

  • LIVERPOOL 4-0 ARSENAL

    77. This is looking bad for the visitors now!

Salah and Trent combine on the Liverpool right before the flying full-back slides a pass across the face of the Gunners net. Sub Minamino has only been on the pitch for 14 seconds but he’s alert at the back post and fires home the hosts’ fourth of the night!

  • GOOOOOOAAAAAAAALLLL!

    IT’S FOUR!

MINAMINO SCORES AFTER 14 SECONDS ON THE PITCH

  • LIVERPOOL 3-0 ARSENAL

    75. Changes for Liverpool as they look to give Jota a rest. He’s off for Minamino. Henderson comes on for Chamberlain.

  • LIVERPOOL 3-0 ARSENAL

    73. That was coming, you have to say.

Liverpool break and Sadio Mane flies towards the Arsenal goal. He’s chased by an Anthill Mob of desperate defenders and rightly, judges he needs to lay the ball off. Who else would be there other than Mo Salah, who gratefully receives the pass to stroke the ball into an empty net.

Salah immediately turns to salute his team-mate for the assist.

  • GOOOOOOAAAAAAAALLLL!

    THREE FOR THE HOSTS!

  • LIVERPOOL 2-0 ARSENAL

    72. You have to ask yourself watching this Arsenal defence – are they making the best decisions? Once again they play it around at the back before Tavares nearly puts his keeper in a world of trouble with a loose pass in his general direction. Ramsdale scrambles the ball clear but it’s tense stuff.

  • LIVERPOOL 2-0 ARSENAL

    70. It’s a yellow card for Fabinho as he brings a flying Smith Rowe down with Arsenal looking to counter.

  • LIVERPOOL 2-0 ARSENAL

    69. Huge penalty shout from Liverpool there as Gabriel tussles with Salah. There wasn’t much in that though and Salah probably went to ground too easily. He protests loudly by ref Michael Oliver isn’t interested.

  • LIVERPOOL 2-0 ARSENAL

    67. Arsenal owe Aaron Ramsdale every penny they’re paying him this evening.

Mo Salah goes flying down the right before sensibly pulling the ball square to Jota. He smashes in a shot but Ramsdale gets a strong hand to palm it away and keep Liverpool from going three up.

  • LIVERPOOL 2-0 ARSENAL

    66. That’s the end of Alexandre Lacazette’s evening – he’s off for Martin Odegaard. Not his finest hour in an Arsenal shirt, it must be said.

  • LIVERPOOL 2-0 ARSENAL

    65. Better from the Gunners as Tavares manages to whip in a cross. It’s too long for Thomas Partey at the back post though.

  • LIVERPOOL 2-0 ARSENAL

    64. Ramsdale is barking at his team-mates to get forward but they insist on playing the ball around at the back. This tactic hasn’t worked out brilliantly for Arsenal so far at Anfield…

  • LIVERPOOL 2-0 ARSENAL

    63. Liverpool enjoy a spell of possession as they take a bit of pace out of the game. Arsenal give away a couple of free-kicks in their opponents’ half. Everyone seems to be catching their breath.

  • LIVERPOOL 2-0 ARSENAL

    60. Play stops for a couple of minutes but both Jota and Ramsdale are back on their feet and the game resumes.

  • LIVERPOOL 2-0 ARSENAL

    58. Ouch! Jota goes smashing into Ramsdale as both men put their bodies on the line. They’re up but Arsenal look worried their keeper may have to come off.
