The mum-of-three revealed that she used to laugh at Harry when they were kids and he told her that he would be England captain one day.

Kate told him: “Bring it home for the country, you deserve to lift that trophy with this incredible England team!”

She went on to praise the striker for always believing in his dream as he prepares for England’s first major league final in 55 years.

Posting the letter on Instagram, she began: “H, you know I am not one to cry too easily but I found myself in tears when I started writing down how proud you’re making us all and what you’re doing for the country.

“I used to laugh at you when we started going out and you’d be round at mine playing penalties with my brother Tom and Seamus the dog, and you’d say you would be England captain one day.

“But that’s you – you set yourself a goal and you achieve it and you always said you were going to the Euros to get to the final.”

The couple met when they were in school, and haven’t been able to see each other in person during the tournament under gaffer Gareth Southgate’s rules.

Kate went on to pay tribute to her hubbys skills as a dad and her partner, writing: “You’re such an amazing husband and dad and the children can’t wait to have you home,” she told him.

“Imagine telling them all about this summer one day when they’re a bit older. We all love you so much, Skipper.

“Bring it home for the country, you deserve to lift that trophy with this incredible England team!”

Kate posted a series of sweet pictures from their personal lives with the letter, including of their kids.

One photo showed Harry playing with their dog in the garden and another had Kate kissing a cardboard cutout of her husband at Wembley Stadium.

The England captain showed his gratitude to his wife by replying to her Instagram post by telling her he loves her followed by a love heart emoji.

Like the other WAGs and footballers, the couple managed to grab a socially distanced selfie during the celebrations after England beat Denmark on Wednesday night.

The couple were all smiles as they posed in an empty Wembley stadium on the night Harry scored the goal that sent England into their first final in a major tournament since 1966.

Kate has supported the striker through the highs and lows of his footballing career, after meeting at Larkswood Primary Academy together.

The couple later attended Chingford Foundation School for their secondary education, which was also attended by former Three Lion’s star David Beckham.

Harry and Kate dated while they were at school, with the sportsman finally popping the question in 2017, and tied the knot two years later.

The couple have now got three children together,  Ivy Jane, Vivienne Jane and Louis Harry.

Speaking about their romance, England star Harry has said on previous occasions that his wife keeps him grounded.

He joked: “If I score a hat-trick, Kate will say, ‘Well done, you can make me a cup of tea when you get home’.

“She’s not afraid to take the mickey out of herself or me. She’s been there through all the ups and the downs.

“She’s been with me when I’ve been successful; she’s been with me when I’ve been struggling or had injuries.

“When I feel bad about something, or when I need to get something off my chest, I can just turn to her and talk about anything.”

Gareth Southgate’s heroic Three Lions will take home advantage into tomorrow’s Euros showpiece against Italy at Wembley.

But Manchester City superstar Phil Foden was forced to sit out on their final training session after getting a ‘knock’.

Foden, 21, started England’s opening two games in the delayed Euros, when they beat Croatia 1-0 but drew to Scotland.

He was then rested in the 2-0 victory over Czech Republic and replaced by Bukayo Saka, and has not returned to the starting XI since.

Foden did come on as a substitute as England progressed into their first final since winning the 1966 World Cup by beating Denmark 2-1.
