DELIGHTED WALES supporters were sent wild after Kieffer Moore’s equaliser earned the Dragons a draw with Switzerland.
Welsh punters flocked to the Fanzone Vale Sports Arena in Cardiff to see Robert Page’s men take a point in their Euro 2020 opener in Baku.
Supporters were advised against travelling to Azerbaijan due to coronavirus guidelines but plenty made their own atmosphere from home.
It looked as if there would be little for the Welsh fans to shout about when Breel Embolo opened the scoring for Switzerland with a free header.
But Cardiff striker Moore stepped up with a brilliant-headed effort of his own to spark scenes of jubilation at the FanZone.

Switzerland’s Mario Gavranovic then thought he’d spoiled the party by netting a minute after he came on but VAR ruled the goal out for offside.
And speaking after the game, Wales coach Rob Page insisted he was delighted with the performance of his players.
He said: “We wanted a positive start, and it feels like a win in the dressing room. I’m so proud of the players.
“They had to dig deep towards the end and had a little bit of lady luck with the offside decision, but that was the start we were after.
“We wanted a positive performance and I certainly got that.”

Gareth Bale also paid tribute to his side’s battling display in Baku as the home nation reacted well to difficult conditions on Saturday.
The Wales captain felt that their eventual point against Switzerland will prove to be a good base from which to kick on in the competition.
He added: “We worked hard. It was difficult in this heat as well. We showed a lot of fight, determination and character to come back from 1-0 down, and I’m proud of the boys.”
