Slimmed-down Tyson Fury looks in amazing shape for Anthony Joshua fight before Paris forces him to have Chinese takeaway

TYSON FURY is looking trimmer than ever ahead of his proposed showdown with Anthony Joshua.

The Gypsy King’s long-awaited clash with AJ is tentatively slated for the summer, although the fight is currently up in the air.

Fury, however, is continuing to train as if the bout is still happening, with more pictures of him looking in good nick.

Irish welterweight Paddy Donovan recently shared a snap of a trim-looking Fury to Instagram and did so again on Thursday night.

Donovan posted a post-training picture of himself, Fury, Andy Lee and Issac Lowe with the accompanying caption: “It’s In Our Blood.”

Although Fury was donning a black and gold tracksuit, it was clear for all to see that he’s still dropping the pounds.

But he could very well put them back on if he gets into the habit of eating Chinese takeaways, which his wife Paris – who is pregnant with their sixth child – forced him to have for his dinner last night.

She said on Instagram: “Oh my gosh, it has been the longest day ever.

“We’re in the middle of school holidays, me and Tyson have been filming all day for something, and I have brought the kids out for a cheek McDonald’s because I can’t do tea tonight.

“Too tired, too done in. So I think it’s a Chinese takeaway for me and T and he’ll have to like it or lump it.

“And Maccy D’s for the kids because I’m shattered.”

Fury’s eagerly-anticipated showdown with Joshua is currently in doubt as a date and venue for the blockbuster bout have yet to be sorted.

WBC king Fury recently suggested a deadline to finalise the fight is fast approaching, sparking fears the biggest bout in the history of British boxing is on the brink of collapse.

But Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn has revealed both fighters will be made aware of all the current proposals in the coming days.

On Thursday, he told Sky Sports: “At the end of this week both fighters and the teams will be presented with all the offers and options on the table, which there will be multiple ones.

“We’re in a good place. I saw John Fury’s comments.

“It’s almost like they don’t really want the fight.

“I’d like them to talk it up, rather than talk it down.

“We’re quite aware that there has been a global pandemic.

“We’re quite aware that it’s not easy, but we’re out there grafting away every day to get this done.

“A little bit of support would be nice, John and Tyson, thank you very much.

“Like I said, there will be around three or four offers presented to both camps this weekend and then it’s over to them and the teams to discuss which one we want to take. The dates of those fights.”
