What is the Premier League highest points total, and what other records can Liverpool break this season?

LIVERPOOL sailed to their first league title in 30 years in dominant fashion.

But that’s not to say there is nothing left for the Reds to play for in the Premier League this season, far from it. Here’s the records they can still break in this campaign…

Highest Premier League points total

Liverpool sit on 93 points in the Premier League at the moment, with three fixtures remaining.

The highest amount of points in a season is Manchester City’s 100 in 2017/18.

This means if the Reds don’t drop points in their final games they can get to an unprecedented 102 points.

Most Premier League wins in a season

Liverpool have won 30 games in the Premier League this season.

The record is 32 – set by Manchester City in 2017/18 and in 2018/19.

Meaning the Reds can set a new record if they win all of their remaining fixtures.

Winning Premier League by biggest margin

The rampaging Reds are currently 22 points clear at the top of the league.

The previous record is 19 points, set by Man City over Man Utd in 2017/18.

Most home wins in a season

Liverpool have won 17 out of their 18 Premier League home matches this season.

They’ve got one more home match left to tie record – and it’s against Chelsea on July 22.

Chelsea, Man Utd and Man City have all previously secured 18 Premier League home wins in a season.
