And the Scotland international has become somewhat of a cult hero with his teammates because of an amazing tattoo he has on the back his hand.

Back in 2017, he got ink inspired by Batman’s famous nemesis The Joker, which was famously seen on Jared Leto in the Hollywood blockbuster, Suicide Squad.

Not only does he use it as his mouthpiece whenever he’s celebrating scoring a goal, he’s also happy to play class clown for his teammates by stripping to his pants during live TV interviews. Meet Shrewsbury’s real-life Joker.

TAT’S AMAZING

Cummings, 24, is a footballer who clearly lives life to the full.

The Joker’s famous catchphrase is, ‘Why so serious?’ and it’s clearly a sentiment the striker adheres to.

Asked about his Joker’s smile tattoo by The Sun, he said: “Actually, I was sober when I got it!

“It’s a goal celebration, but I’ll need to start scoring goals. If I score this week, that will be the one.

“Every striker needs a celebration. I scored that many goals up here that I was running out of them.

“I still don’t know why I got it. I’ll regret it in 20 years, but live for the moment.

“I got the tattoo in Edinburgh. When I come up I go to this girl in Edinburgh. Scoobs is her name and she’s good.

“The Joker does the smile and I’m a big fan. It’s just his character. He’s a bit like me.”

GREASE IS THE WORD

Not only does Cummings love tattoos, he’s also a big fan of John Travolta hit-movie Grease.

But it’s Olivia Newton-John’s character ‘Sandy’ who is the object of the Scot’s desires, clearly by the artwork he has on his arm.

“There is nothing really significant behind my tattoos, except for the one of Sandy from ‘Grease,'” he revealed.

“That’s what the big one on my arm is meant to be. I asked for Sandy from ‘Grease’ as she was in the movie, not now!

“I’m a massive ‘Grease’ fan. Honestly, it’s my favourite movie. That’s a wee bit of inside info there.

“Seriously, I can do the movie word for word. I watched it when I was growing up, I don’t know why.

“There is a space left on my arm for tattoos of Danny Zuko and the Pink Ladies!”

Cummings other tattoos include Heath Ledger’s joker, as well as an English Bulldog on his calf.

JOKER IN THE PACK

A complete prankster, Cummings wasn’t afraid to flash a bit of skin during a live TV broadcast – leaving Sky Sports News viewers in hysterics.

The moment happened during at Shrewsbury’s FA Cup press day at New Meadow last month.

Teammate David Edwards was being interviewed when Cummings decided to stroll past him only in his pants before walking back the same way with an amusing strut.

And people watching Sky Sports thought the whole incident was side-splittingly hilarious.
