The lethal finisher put pen to paper on a one-year extension back in 2018 and the former Atletico Madrid striker’s agent has confirmed his intentions.

Agent Hernan Reguera told FCInterNews.it: “Sergio has a contract with Manchester City until 2021, and there is no chance of him leaving before that.

“We’ll see what happens after that. I haven’t spoken to Inter [Milan], and the reason is very simple: Aguero is happy with the Citizens and has no intention of changing club.”

The 31-year-old left the Spanish capital for Manchester and the Premier League in 2011.

It has been close to a decade of stunning success for Aguero at the Etihad with four league titles, five league cups and an FA Cup winners medal.

He is best known for the famous last-gasp goal against QPR in 2011 that sealed the league title for City but has continued to find the net regularly.

Aguero even overtook Chelsea boss Frank Lampard (177) in the Premier League top scorers chart back in January with a brace against Crystal Palace.

City’s No10 has bagged a phenomenal 254 goals in just 368 games in all competitions for the Citizens.

The Argentine has also pulled off 72 assists for The Sky Blues.

Stats like those are the reason that a number of clubs are swirling with his signature potentially available next summer.
