Their win saw them leap into eighth place but they still have a lot more work to do to secure their Europa League place.

Newcastle will be looking to recover from their defeat at Watford, with Steve Bruce’s side needing to end the season on a positive note.

The Magpies gave away two penalties to the Hornets and with takeover talk still looming they need some good news to wrap up the season.

What is the team news?  

Danny Rose will not feature for the Magpies, as Spurs are his parent club and Premier League loan rules means he isn’t allowed to play against them.

Ciaran Clarke, Sean Longstaff, Isaac Hayden and Andy Carrol are still out due to injury.

Allan Saint-Maximin picked up a knock during the Watford game and may be a doubt. 

Dele Alli hasn’t featured in Spurs last three games due a hamstring injury and is expected to sit out this game too.

Serge Aurier is unlikely to feature following the tragic passing of his brother on Monday morning.

Eric Dier is still suspended and Troy Parrott is still recovering from his appendix surgery.
