United chiefs moved to try and leave spaces between car park bays for players and coaches, separating them from training ground staff.

They are trying to avoid any contact with their stars in case they contract Covid-19.

But the term ‘non-relevant’ has left staff feeling used and uncared for.

It comes amid fears that the second wave of coronavirus will force chiefs to call off professional games.

Football remains in the balance and more positive tests will force a rethink.

Leyton Orient have already been thrown out of the Carabao Cup after 18 positive tests.

West Ham boss David Moyes and two players also contracted it.
