Liverpool star Mohamed Salah installs 18-yard box in back garden to practice free-kicks during lockdown

MOHAMED SALAH can continue to practice his dynamite set-pieces during lockdown – with his own personal 18-yard box.

The Liverpool winger starred in a Vodafone advert in his native Egypt which showed footage of Salah playing with his daughter.

Chalked on the lawn, of what is thought to be his home, is a penalty area.

It is the perfect setup for the 27-year-old to practice pinging free-kicks into the top corner and driving home penalties during those long lockdown days.

With Liverpool now back in training ahead of sealing the Premier League title, their superstar forward will be confident of adding to his three spot-kick goals this season after putting in the hours on his practice pitch.

Salah’s daughter Makka also features in the clip, who lives with her dad and mum Magi after she was born in 2014 – while Mohamed played for Chelsea.

The 38.5million Instagram followers of the player’s social media account are regularly treated to glimpses of his home life.

Pictures of Salah working out in the gym, relaxing on the couch and decorating his house for the Islamic celebration of Ramadan have all been posted online.

In April, he showed his commitment to training hard during the holy month by exercising in the gym at 2.40am.

Salah has also been taking care of his charitable work during the pandemic, sending thousands of tons of food back to his hometown of Nagrig.

Advice on how to stay safe during the pandemic was also sent to families in the Egyptian city.

Salah Ghaly, Mohamed’s father, revealed that the local area had been sanitised with facemasks provided for locals to prevent the virus spreading.
