Juventus chief hints at Pogba move but insists Man Utd star will ‘not be free agent’ despite Raiola’s transfer bombshell

The wantaway Frenchman is heading for the Old Trafford exit door after his agent Mino Raiola confirmed he will not sign a new deal.

Raiola gave an explosive interview in which he confirmed: “I can say that it’s over for Paul Pogba at Manchester United.”

United’s Champions League failure at the hands of RB Leipzig will only further encourage Pogba to leave the club.

And the Old Lady will look to take advantage, according to Fabio Paratici.

Paratici told Mediaset: “Pogba back to Juve? We love Paul, he’s an amazing player but he’s playing for Manchester United now.

“He’ll not be a free agent, you’ve to pay if you want to sign Pogba.

“We know so well the value of Paul Pogba. We also know his price, so we will see what happens”.

Pogba still has 18 months left on his deal at Manchester United but could leave as early as next month.

He spent four years at Juventus, winning the Serie A title in each season, before returning to England in 2016.

Agent Mino Raiola gave a sensational interview on Pogba’s future

Before United’s 3-2 Champions League defeat, Raiola did not beat around the bush on his client’s future.

He said: “It is useless to go around it.

“Better to speak clearly, look ahead and not waste time looking for culprits: Paul at Manchester United is unhappy, he is no longer able to express himself as he would like and as expected of him.

“He has to change teams, he has to change the air.

“He has a contract that will expire in a year and a half, in the summer of 2022, but I think the best solution for the parties is to sell in the next market.

“Otherwise, the Old Trafford club, with whom relations are excellent, knows well that they would risk losing him on a free transfer, given that for the moment it is not the player’s intention to extend the contract.

“If someone doesn’t understand it, they understand very little about football. In any case, let them blame me if Paul leaves next summer.”

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer refused to get drawn into Pogba’s future but reminded Raiola football is not about individuals.

The under pressure Norwegian said: “They’re a team and they stick together.

“As soon as Paul’s agent realises this is a team sport and we work together, the better.

“That’s probably maybe the last thing I’ll say about that. I don’t want to spend energy on that.”

Juventus will face competition from Real Madrid for his signature with boss Zinedine Zidane a keen admirer of his French compatriot.
