How Arsenal could line up at Leicester in Carabao Cup TONIGHT with Nketiah up front but Tierney given time to recover

EDDIE NKETIAH could lead the line for Arsenal against Leicester in the Carabao Cup.

The 21-year-old scored the winner for the Gunners in last weekend’s 2-1 win over West Ham.

Here’s how Arsenal could line-up for the match

Mikel Arteta looks set to rest Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette.

Kieran Tierney is also set to miss out after he was pulled out of the squad to face West Ham.

Giving an update on the ex-Celtic star’s injury, Arteta said: “Kieran is fine.

“He had a little muscular discomfort in the last few days.

“He tried today and worked in the warm-up but he wasn’t feeling comfortable today [on Saturday].”

Bernd Leno looks set to keep his spot between the sticks despite the arrival of Alex Runarsson.

At the back, Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Cedric Soares could start as wing backs.

William Saliba could make his debut after featuring for the Under-23s last week.

David Luiz also looks likely to return from injury alongside Saliba and Rob Holding.

Mohamed Elneny and Granit Xhaka are set to start in front of them.

Bukayo Saka could start out wide after his impressive performance against the Hammers.

Nicolas Pepe, who has five Premier League goals in 33 games, could be deployed on the right flank.

Nketiah has another chance to prove himself to the Gunners gaffer before the clash against Liverpool on September 28.

Mikel Arteta claims Arsenal are as big as Barcelona which helped convince Aubameyang to stay and sign new deal
