UFC star Ben Askren vows to beat up ‘bum’ Jake Paul after YouTuber called him out along with Conor McGregor

BEN ASKREN has vowed to beat up Jake Paul after the YouTuber called him out for a boxing fight.

The former UFC star retired back in 2019 but admitted he could become the latest MMA alum to cross over to the squared circle.

Social media personality Paul is set to have only his second-ever boxing fight when he takes on ex-NBA ace Nate Robinson on the undercard of the Mike Tyson vs. Roy Jones Jr. exhibition bout.

Yet the 23-year-old has made headlines for calling out a trio of UFC fighters, including Askren, Jorge Masvidal and Conor McGregor.

‘Funky’ has since responded to the call out by claiming he would find the opportunity to box Paul an intriguing one.

He told MMA Fighting: “Jake Paul wants to box me. I don’t know, I’m not a boxer but I could beat up a bum YouTube celebrity.

I don’t gotta go box f****** Roy Jones and get my ass whooped or nothing. But I could box some YouTube bum and get paid for it? What a tremendous livelihood

“It would be something to do because you could say I did it.

Jake has followed older brother Logan in challenging Askren – after the elder Paul requested to wrestle the former Bellator champion.

And Askren added: “Logan Paul came at me last year—I think that’s his brother or some s***.

“I don’t know what their deal is, but I think he wanted to wrestle somebody and I said, ‘We don’t have to do a full match, but I’ll pin you in under a minute. No problem, bubba.’

“He obviously did not accept the challenge because he pretty much knows how that would go down.”
