Tyson Fury claims Anthony Joshua has lost his fear factor after ‘double s***’ win over Andy Ruiz Jr

TYSON FURY has slaughtered Anthony Joshua’s rematch win over Andy Ruiz Jr as “double s***”.

When the Gypsy King danced and jabbed the ears off Wladimir Klitschko in 2015, AJ accused him of running throughout the fight and said he would never box so defensively.

But four years later he copied the 6ft 9in star’s style to keep the Mexican at distance for 12 Saudi Arabia rounds and regain his belts.

Joshua, 30, had his performance hailed as a masterful boxing clinic by most rival fighters and pundits.

But 31-year-old Fury was less than impressed by the showing and accused AJ of being terrified throughout the one-sided showdown.

Ahead of his February 22 rematch with WBC king Deontay Wilder, Fury said: “Everyone has to do whatever they have to do to win a fight.

“But if it was s*** when I was doing it, it was double s*** when he did it because it was a far worse job.

“He just ran away all night, it was not a good fight, it was a load of s*** really.

“He ran away terrified all night and when he did stand still for two seconds, he was rocked to his boots.”

Joshua’s last two fights have been a shock seventh-round stoppage loss to the chunky slugger last June and the cautious December revenge mission.

No one is bothered about AJ anymore and they won’t be about Wilder either, when I burst his bubble too.”

And Fury believes the Watford man has lost his aura and now has rivals queuing up fancying their chances against him.

He said: “I don’t think any of the fighters out there in the world are worried about AJ anymore, his bubble has well and truly been burst.

“No one is bothered about AJ anymore and they won’t be about Wilder either, when I burst his bubble too.”

Joshua shocked the boxing world at the end of December when he offered to spar Fury, to help him prepare for his Las Vegas rerun with the Alabama power puncher.

The Traveller snapped up the offer and instantly replied on social media.

But Joshua and promoter Eddie Hearn went quiet, the practice rounds never happened and Fury is not letting him off lightly.

He said: “He made a video live on Sky, I replied within three minutes but I never heard anything back from him or Eddie.

“I am calling them both out because they went back on their words. I never heard from them.”

Fury is far more interested in a genuine mega-money fight with AJ in the final three fights of his career.

Hearn has claimed they can split £150million by having all the all-British battle in Saudi Arabia.

And Fury has warned Joshua against pricing him out of a possible undisputed decider, if he can dethrone Wilder first.

He said: “If that fight happens next or in two fights, it will happen because I have three left and he will be one of them.

“Me and him have to fight and I would like it to be in Las Vegas because it is the Mecca of boxing, where the biggest fights have happened for years.

“I am not really interested in the business bulls*** of it all. Percentages are not why these big fights don’t happen.

“These massive fights don’t happen because one of the fighters doesn’t want to fight.

“When you have two men who really want to fight, the percentages will always get worked out.

“But when you have one man who wants to fight and one man who doesn’t, he will use percentages.

“Anything can happen when both parties are willing to sit down and make it happen. All this percentage talk is really unimportant.

“If a couple of percent here or there is that important to your life, then you are in the wrong job for sure.”
