Anthony Joshua tells Carl Froch to ‘shut up, blud’ as war of words continues after deleted WhatsApp messages row

ANTHONY JOSHUA has posted a video from his Instagram account taking another swipe at Carl Froch.

The two appear to be at loggerheads after Froch fumed at missing out on making SunSport’s top ten pound for pound best of Britain over the last 30 years.

The former super-middleweight world champ used Joshua’s inclusion at No10 to support his argument, saying that AJ “got knocked out by a little fat kid from Mexico”.

Froch, 42, then claimed the heavyweight champion of the world sent him four WhatsApp messages in response, but then deleted them.

Joshua is seemingly not letting the argument pass, and uploaded a clip of Froch being interviewed onto Instagram.

It was filmed before AJ got his revenge against Andy Ruiz Jr with an easy points win just six months after being sensationally KO’d by the Mexican.

In the interview, Froch says: “I’ve not seen him in sparring, I’ve not seen him in camp I’ve not been around him when he’s chatting.

“But from what I have seen of him on the Gloves Are Off and the build-up that Sky put on I’ve not seen anything that convinces me that he is a man on a mission.”

Then the person watching the interview, believed to be AJ, slams the laptop lid down in frustration, saying “shut up, blud”.

TWO-FACED FRIENDS

Last month AJ hit out at two-faced “industry friends” who were ready to stab him in the back after he lost his belts to Ruiz Jr.

The 30-year-old was left fighting for his career in December as he fought Ruiz again six months after being floored four times on the way to a round seven stoppage defeat, that cost him the unified belts.

The Brit star hinted he had problems going into his first fight with the Mexican-American, who replaced drug-banned Jarrell Miller on seven weeks notice.

But the 30-year-old was then left with trust issues after his shocking loss, revealing disloyal pals in the boxing business were ready to turn their back on him as his unbeaten heavyweight aura was lost.

Joshua told DAZN: “I had my own issues going on, that I said I would explain one day. So I just took my loss like a man.

“But what I found is that a lot of my industry friends that were smiling in my face were ready to stab me in the back when I took my loss.”
