Giant Ajax defender David Easmon, 14, towers above opponents at 6ft 2in as pictures of game against Sparta U15s go viral

GIANT Ajax defender David Easmon has gone viral after an image of him absolutely dwarfing his opponents did the rounds on social media this weekend.

Still only 14-years-old, the centre-back had well over a foot on most of his team-mates and opponents during the clash between Ajax and Sparta Rotterdam’s Under-15s.

In one particular image, Easmon is seen standing composed – and very tall – over the ball, while his opponent, who looks half the size slips over.

But the diminutive Sparta star got his revenge later in the game by incredibly OUT-JUMPING his opponent despite the almighty height difference.

Easmon as played in ten official games for Ajax’s Under-15s this season, scoring twice while adding an assist from the back.

Already built like a fully-grown adult, it’s easy to see why he’s so highly thought of by club bosses in Holland.

But it was after this weekend he really caught the attention of fans – who took to Twitter to share their disbelief.

One user wrote: “Absolute madness.”

Another joked: “David Easmon [cross]. Goliath Easmon [tick].”

A third even called him: “A human tower.”

But Easmon certainly isn’t the first player to go viral for his hulking physique compared to his peers.

Former Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku burst on to the scene a decade ago for dwarfing his team-mates while on the books of Anderlecht’s academy.

More recently club chiefs were forced to complain over Paris Saint-Germain youngster Bitshiabu El Chadaille.

El Chadaille absolutely towered over his fellow Under-13s, standing a gigantic 6ft 2ins aged just 12.
