Tyson Fury slammed for ‘ripping off’ fans by charging £500 for autograph on meet-and-greet sessions despite £30m fortune

TYSON FURY is worth around £30million but he’s floored fight fans by charging up to £500 for a signature.

The Gypsy King has arranged two meet-and-greet sessions this weekend where fans can bag an autograph – if they’ve got cash to burn.

Moneybags Tyson will boost is bank balance even further on Saturday with the two sessions in Blackpool and Manchester.

They are being heavily promoted with posters on social media and fans are told the heavyweight brawler will be appearing at two memorabilia shops owned by firm Simply Iconic.

But the prices are a knockout.

Organisers will charge £500 for a signed belt provided by them, £200 for a signed robe, £150 for a signed limited edition canvas, £125 for signed shorts, £80 for gloves with his name on and £50 for an autographed photo.

If fans bring their own items, the prices per signature are £110 for shorts, £75 for gloves, £60 for a poster and £50 for a signed photo or programme.

Fan Emma said on Iconic’s Facebook page: “What…..you have to pay for an autograph these days ? 😂😂😂 what has the world come to?”

And another person added: “Omg who has that type of money this time of the year it’s not as if he needs the cash.”

A third wrote: “What a rip off.”

Fury was previously accused of lying about donating his £7m purse from his first fight with Deontay to charity, according to promoter Eddie Hearn.

The Gypsy King insisted before December’s controversial draw that he would use the huge sum to build homes for alcoholics and drug addicts in the UK.

But speaking on IFL TV, the 39-year-old Hearn replied: “One minute he’s giving his entire purse away to charity, which he obviously never did, and on the other hand he’s now going back to his ways of negativity.”
