KSI confirms he will step into ring again after Logan Paul win… but is only interested in ‘celebs’ for next fight

YOUTUBE star KSI confirmed he will fight again after beating Logan Paul – but is only interested in ‘celeb’ matchups.

The British internet star – real name Olajide William Olatunji – beat social media rival Paul by split decision in Los Angeles this month.

The pair fought to a draw in an exhibition bout last year, but KSI’s rematch win means he is 2-0-1 from his three bouts.

KSI, 26, is eager to keep the momentum going, but revealed only celebrity boxing matches will keep him in the sport.

He told The Ring: “I’m gonna fight again, but I don’t think I need to fight Logan again.

“I think it would make more sense to fight celebs, that would draw more attention, me fighting a journeyman wouldn’t bring numbers.

“I’m a business-man, I do things that make sense.”

Paul’s trainer, ex-heavyweight champion Shannon Briggs, called for a trilogy bout after the rematch, but KSI stood firm that his business is finished with the 24-year-old American.

That was until ‘The Maverick’ announced on his YouTube channel that he has filed an official appeal to the California State Athletic Commission following his defeat.

Paul had two points taken away in round four for hitting KSI with an illegal blow, despite the knockdown being counted.

The American went on to lose by one point on the deciding card, meaning without the penalisation, he would have won.

But KSI fired back online, claiming his rival was fortunate not to be disqualified for the illegal shot.
