He has not stepped on the pitch since being suspended by Manchester United following his arrest in January last year.
Charges of attempted rape, assault and coercive control were dropped in February, but United announced last month it had “mutually agreed” he would rebuild his career away from Old Trafford.
Now the creators of Football Manager have confirmed he will be included within the popular computer game.
It comes after Greenwood had been removed from the game in February last year.

Sports Interactive told The Athletic: “Players or officials serving indefinite suspensions from football, for any reason, are removed from Football Manager at the first opportunity.
“When suspensions or playing restrictions are lifted, the player or official will be reinstated in-game at the next scheduled update.”
A release date for the latest version of the game has not yet been announced.
It comes after Getafe officially unveiled Greenwood to fans on Tuesday.

The Spanish side have since released a number of videos of the striker training alongside his new teammates.
Addressing accusations the signing was “tone death”, club president Ruben Reyes said Greenwood’s arrival was “just the same” as its other signings.
Getafe’s next game is at home to Osasuna on September 17, but is unlikely Greenwood will feature due to a lack of fitness after going 18 months without playing.
Posing for selfies with supporters at his unveiling earlier this week, Greenwood said: “I have been training for four or five months now so I am getting up to speed.
“I have been training with my team-mates and I feel quite good.
“We take one game at a time, I know the next home game is coming up soon, we are going to try and win it and do our best.”
